Silverlightning has the build of a long haired oriental cat with longer legs than most. Lengthy fur flows along his chest and the length of his tail while medium length fur covers the rest of his frame. He has a sterling silver pelt broken up by darker flecks of charcoal and jagged albeit faint stripes, his eyes are a light silver.

↳ mannerisms Because of Silver's upbringing he has been trained from his youth to keep a tight reign on his emotions, never allowing them show. The public display of comfort or affection was both frowned upon and considered a show of weakness. A stoic face was the only appropriate expression. This leaves him inwardly confused whenever he does come across an individual that has no qualms wearing a toothy smile, laughing, or crying at their misfortune out in the open. Despite his lack of visible emotional cues, he is very insightful and does his best to excel at whatever task is placed upon him with militaristic discipline.

( Backstory )
One morning Silverlightning got into a heated argument with his parents, breaking the one rule that has been hammered into him since kittenhood. Show no emotion. His fur fluffed, his ears pinned and his fangs bared. He was angry, livid because he did not want to take a certain molly to be his mate but his parents continued to insist. Irritated he stormed off, hoping that hunting could calm his frazzled nerves. But in the back of his mind all that continued to replay was the stony faces of his parents with the very subtle hint of disappointment and disapproval. It did not help that he felt disgusted for breaking code. An hour or two went by with no success before he heard loud rumbling in the distance, the ground quaking all around him as he noticed trees topping in the direction of home. Quickly he raced back, but by the time he arrived everything was covered in rubble. A shaky sigh left him but he steeled himself, he had already broken a law and he was not about to do it twice, but guilt bubbled inside now stronger than ever. If he had controlled himself, had he not run away, then maybe he could have helped save his parents and siblings from such a horrible fate. In the midst of his internal mourning he saw a survivor, Redstream. The two had lost everything, but they gathered themselves and traveled on in search of a new place to call home.
