Sunstar asks Bluepool and Periwinklebreeze to lead patrols to highstones in case duskclan rears its head again - and really, periwinklebreeze can't blame the tom for his worry. Sootstar has left an awful stain n not only windclans name but it's numbers - the now rogues who'd fled the moorlands leaving litters and bodies behind. He does not trust them for even a minute - the moment they let their gaurd down, they'll probably come for them. Still... he hopes this will be a peaceful patrol - simple. Uneventful. Highstones may no longer be getting claimed as 'windclan territory' as it had in sootstars insanity, but it's still an important marker that graces the edge of windclans home. They must do what they can to protect it. " K-keep your eyes p-peeled - j-j-just in case.... I d-don't want to st-star any fights we don't need to, but who knows what th-those... loyalists might do if we c-come across them, " he warns quietly - ears pricked and shoulders tense as the small patrol moves forward.

He'd be lying if he said he isn't nervous. Their patrol is likely to be able to deal with some trespassers, but with the way things ended, Dimmingsun wouldn't put it past their ex-Clanmates to come with a hearty need for cruel revenge. The wind picks up here, so much closer to the mountains than before, and he wonders if it's foreboding or relaxing. Normally it'd be the latter. It buffets his fur, and he stands tall and proud as he scans their surroundings.

If it comes to a fight, he's ready.

"I hope they have enough of a brain to avoid us," he says, voice somber. They're enemies now, but he can't simply forget battling alongside them just a few moons ago. He had been willing to risk his life for any of them back then. That sort of bond you can't shake off despite the mistakes they're still making by heeding her orders.
