[sneezeduck]

sneezekit was born to duckshimmer alongisde singekit and swallowkit - two littermates that embody chaos, while the former most demonstrates an unusual quiet and empathetic personality compared to shadowclan's tense climate. apprenticed to sharpshadow, sneezepaw's apprenticeship was rocky at best; while his siblings got into fights and trouble, he struggled to bring food home to his clan. as sneezepaw grew, so too did he grow more quiet; and in the face of chilledstar's death, the boy became more withdrawn than ever. luckily, his natural strengths have caught up to him by warriorhood, and sneezeduck was named alongisde singeglare and swallowflutter, in homage to his mother. his warriorhood proves itself to be a trial in its' own as, after the death of a clanmate at thunderclan's border and the disappearance of their leader, sneezeduck finds himself tired of all the death and mystery, and sheds his former scaredy-cat tendencies in favor of taking justice into his own paws..

  sneezeduck is a lh chocolate tabby. (with complex leaf-like tabby stripes, and spikey 'eye-liner' underneath both amber eyes. sneezeduck has a pale undercoat, from his muzzle to his stomach, which appear again at the tips of his tail and toes. his stature is awkward; tall and lanky, with a scruffy, long pelt and unusually long head-fur.)

  sneezeduck always stood out from his siblings as, compared to their rowdiness and abrasiveness, empathetic and particularly attuned to the feelings of others. as an apprentice, he was the unusual type of cat to cry at the loss of bug friends and pay visits to the medicine cat's residents. though he still retains some level of empathy as a warrior, sneezeduck hones in more on the need to protect rather than the need to soothe, willing to put his life (and others') on the line for his clan and family.
  
  while not as openly fearful as he was as an apprentice, sneezeduck is still a nervous character and often appears shifty and on edge. ever watchful, he keeps an observant eye on his surroundings and the cats within, terrified by the recent attacks and disappearances. even down to simple conversations, sneezeduck is calculative, examining cats' emotions and expressions to easier steer conversations - making him an excellent conversationist, and an even better 'detective'.
  
  for all his good, however, there lies an inherited pettiness beneath that seems to run rampant in the family, albeit typically dormant within him. while his interests lie in protecting his friends and family, sneezeduck has adopted the belief that he is the only one that can do so, leading to a sort of self-righteousness that has only become heightened with his recent interactions with 'starclan'. stemming from the same new-found faith comes the delusions that he, alone, is tasked with saving his clan from its supposed curse - leading to recklessness and bad decisions, and a startling thirst for blood..
