Dark-kit loved his sisters, but he sometimes felt that Onyxkit and Sparrowkit would rather do anything else but play with him. They had always been a bit distant, a bit withdrawn, but that was how their whole family interacted with each other and he had grown used to it. However, he would never stop trying to get them to loosen up and have fun with him. Now that they had been released from the nursery, the whole world was their oyster! There was no limit to the kinds of trouble they could get up to together now.

The stocky kitten darted around the camp in his usual energized fashion, seemingly incapable of running out of steam now that he had so much room to run. He stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed the smaller of his sisters lingering near the nursery, a mischievous grin lighting up his face as he changed course and sprinted towards her. "Sparrowkit! Sparrowkit!"

He skid to a clumsy halt just short of running into her, though he made sure to lean down and bump his big head into her shoulder affectionately. "Will you play with me today? Pleaaase?" he pleaded whinily, jutting out his bottom lip and widening his round golden eyes. "We can play clan wars, and you can even be Riverclan this time! I'll be the stinky Shadowclanners." He dropped down into a crouch in front of her, tail waving playfully over his back as he growled at her.

[SPARROWKIT]

Sparrowkit! Sparrowkit! The charcoal kitten resists the urge to roll her molten eyes. They had just been released from the nursery, and still Dark-kit insists on sapping her time. Since her very eyes opened, Sparrowkit has spent her time staring out of the nursery's mouth. Now, Dark-kit sees fit on pulling her away from this new world to... play clan wars, apparently.

White-tipped tail flicks as she raises her attention from a line of ants in the dirt to her brother's black-wreathed face. This face meets her shoulder in an affectionate bump, and Sparrowkit's iron will is suddenly slightly warm and malleable. Matching golden eyes stare back into her own, pleading for her acceptance of this game. Her stern frown winds at its corners.

"Fine," she concedes, whisking her attention away from her littermate as if to deter this sort of begging in the future. At least she could be RiverClan — pretending to be a muddy, boggy, smelly ShadowClanner is definitely below her. It should be below Dark-kit, too, but somebody needs to be the bad guy, so... she supposes it's okay. As he drops into his play crouch, Sparrowkit backs away a few paces, her kitten-soft face growing angular as she puts on her best warrior expression.

"Darkstar!" she yowls, thin tail lashing, "you've bested RiverClan for the last time! Get ready to die a bunch! Sparrowstar never forgets a slight!" With this decree, the girl launches herself at her brother, aiming to bowl him over and bunny kick at whatever she can. He's so much bigger than she is it seems doubtful that she would be successful — but maybe her speed can catch him off guard? Sparrowkit growls, but a wide grin breaks out on her muzzle.
