I WANT SOMETHING JUST LIKE THIS

Dusk needed a bit of a break. He'd been avoiding others and throwing himself into his work ever since Rosepaws death, and it was becoming toomuch of a chore. He knew he needed to just relax and find happiness for a bit, but that was hard for the bengal to muster up on his own. Normally he would have just sucked it up, but ever since Inky had left and one bad thing after another kept happening, Dusk had stopped caring what his clanmates thought of his social awkwardness.

Which was why when he spotted Yewberry sitting off by themselves, he made the impromptu decision to make his way over to the other tomcat. He'd never really spent any one on one time with Yewberry, but he knew the other cat to be on the kinder side, someone who might have the patience to humor the emerald-eyed deputy.

"Hey Yewberry." he greeted as he came to a stop in front of the other. "I'm kind of bored. You want some company?" he asked, aware of how random the request was but deciding it was better than being alone any longer. Dusk had a tendency to get restless and frustrated when he had nothing to occupy him, and he was hoping the tomcat before him would be able to help keep him distracted.

@Yewberry

Yewberry had his paws tucked under him and his eyes closed for the moment as he enjoyed the cool breeze. Bits of lavender stuck to his lilac pelt helped stave off any anxiety that threatened to grip him.

When Duskfire approached him he almost thought he was in trouble, but quickly brought sense to himself and smiled a little.

"Sure!" He said. "I don't think I'm very entertaining, but I guess we'll figure something out together."

All he did was dig holes, have anxiety, and help pick flowers for Dandelionwish. He didn't even know what he did for fun. When was the last time he had fun, even?

Hm.

"That's fair." he chuckled. "I'm not very entertaining either." the tomcat admitted as he lay down across from the other. All he ever did was work and train so it wasn't like he had a ton of hobbies or social skills to fall back on. It also accounted for why he had so few friends despite being one of the more powerful cats in the clan, his solitude something he wished he could shake off but just wasn't sure how. Every interaction he tried to hold with another cat seemed abrupt and random, and then things just got awkward because Duskfire had no fucking clue what he was doing.

"So, what kind of stuff does Yewberry do to pass the time? I'm in need of pointers so I hope you've got some." he said, the tone one of friendly jest. He didn't actually expect Yewberry to teach him anything, but if there was anything the tom liked to do specifically than Duskfire was down, even if it was just loafing around and chatting.

Hm. Free time activities. Well... He just kind of hid in a hole most of the time. Well, there were other things....

"Well..... Sometimes I go out on the moor and run...It's different than running in the tunnels. Or I'll look for flowers...." He said. What else.....

Hm......There wasn't much, was there.

"That's it, I think.....I guess I don't do much outside of my duties..." He said. Man, he needed a life.

He had to admit, he was a bit of a recluse. Perhaps he should fix that one day.

"What do you usually do?" He asked.
