*+:。.。 Singepaw woke upon his new nest, in his new den, with his new name to another new day with the exact same scowl on his face. Today Pipitclaw was probably going to teach him another riveting new lesson about changing the bedding out of the warriors den this time. Or maybe he'll spice it up and let Singepaw bring prey to the elders instead - wowee! How blessed was he?
"Starclan! What's the point of earning our names if we're still trapped like kits!?" Singepaw suddenly caterwauled, uncaring of the apprentices he might've woken up. GOOD! Most of them got to BE apprentices when their names were changed - they already basically had everything they wanted, they could stand to give up one peaceful morning the way Singepaw had given up TWO MOONS of fun and learning! He kicked at his nest as he jumped to his feet, burning with a fury hot enough to set the whole stupid den on fire. "Like, it doesn't even sound like Chilledstar even decided on this rule themselves - they said the last gathering, so it was all the other stupid leaders that voted on this dumb, stupid, badger-shit rule! I can't believe Chilledstar is going along with it"

At this very moment, Singepaw should've been out exploring the marshlands. His paws ought to be muddied, his muscles sore from the exertion. He wanted to learn how to hunt already! To Fight! He wanted to be STRONG! Instead, he was just a kit who had to do chores now and eat last. Chilledstar was a great leader, but suddenly Singepaw found himself glaring past the apprentice's den in the direction of their leader's den with animosity. It. Wasn't. Fair.
