Sunshinekit is rarely left alone. Though the kitten hardly understands why, their fathers have made it their mission to be sure that someone is with them at any given moment. They've been told that its a 'just in case' situation. But just in case, what? They sneeze a little too hard and their brains leave out their nose? They cough and breakfast comes back to life? They aren't that sick, are they? Perhaps luckily for the dilute kitten, they never think too hard on it. After all, they appreciate the company regardless.
Today, its Lichenpaw. They pay no mind to what the mottled point does whilst they are nearby, instead leaving their leaf green gaze to settle on a spot just outside the medicine den. They linger in their nest, nose scrunched up for a few moments, before they stand, suddenly, to unsteady paws. They ignore the way their chest rattles as they grasp the edge of their nest and drag it as best as they can out of the den, leaving it in the warm spot they've dictated as their own. Alright... almost perfect...
They turn on their heel and walk back into the den - after all, they can't be alone. They seek out Lichenpaw and, upon spotting him, they wordlessly round him and begin headbutting his ankles and lower legs, insisting he walk ahead. Any resistance is met with a groggy mewl and a pathetically furrowed brow. Regardless of how long it takes, the kitten manages to get the apprentice just within the reach of their sun warmed nest. They take a few moments to get settled back within its bounds before looking back to their babysitter and patting the spot beside them, silently suggesting the other take a break with them.
