[ CW for some ableism >:( ]
Caterpillarpaw is someone she has spent quite some time with against her own will, the reason for such a thing being the apparent relation between the both of their mentors— siblings. Applepaw sometimes ponders if she would spend as much time with her siblings, when they were all warrior - aged with apprentices of their own. She thinks: certainly not. Perhaps the difference was that Granitepelt nor Siltcloud were utterly embarrassing in every sense of the word. They may do more than co - exist in the same dreary place. It would not be a detriment to Granitepelt's reputation to hang around Siltcloud. Nor would the opposite apply.
If she were Siltcloud, she would rather concern herself with her apprentice, whom Applepaw has seen do little else besides snivel and trip over her own words. By the nature of their arrangement, she would think them representative of who she ought to compare herself to. And, well, as far as she saw, Applepaw believed she was winning.
Of course, there is no actual competition, but it gives her something easier to think about, if she thinks there is.
Applepaw drifts closer to the apprentice in question, an lightsmile planted on her maw. You could take her approach for a friendly one... and it isn't as if it were meant to be unfriendly, " Hey, you like, can't see at all, can you? How do you hunt? " her tone sounds curious, and really, she was. Should Applepaw even spend any energy thinking about her at all?

( CAUSE I FEEL LIKE I'M THE WORST, SO I ALWAYS ACT LIKE I'M THE BEST ) APPLEPAW. apprentice of shadowclan. eldest sister to swanpaw, ashenpaw, and garlicpaw. ( + birdkit, halfkit & tanglekit )
—— she / her; confused by the use of others.
—— currently 7 moons old as of 10.22.23. ages every 17th.
longhaired blue torbie with a white chest, paws, and underbelly. A young cat you would describe as " bossy, " Applekit is quick to take charge of any situation she sees herself as the probable head of. A rule - follower to a T, and thinks herself better than the majority of her clan for this. Not ignorant enough to think herself above a warrior, but seeks to gain that status as quickly as possible. Intensely self - motivated to be the best in a mixture of blind, childish desire, and never wanting to be afraid of anything ever again.
