IS IT OVER YET - CAN I OPEN MY EYES?

They're apprentices now - all of them. Its still a strange thought, and he's still not certain he's truly ready for the reality of his situation But he's d promised himself, promised hyacinthbreath - promised starclan - that he would at least try. He'd do his best and not give up no matter how hard it becomes. As he moves his nest from the medicine den and out into the open-air of the camp, he spots his brother nearby. Abandoning his work (he can always find a better spot later) he pads over with a cheery smile. "Hi Wis-t'" he says, managing to only draw out the very last part of the nickname and not stutter even once! "How's t-t-train-ing g-going?" he adds - of all the siblings, wisteriapaw is the least social and the most independent - and peri had been to ill to really spend time with his brother since his apprenticeship.

"How do you think it's going? Terrible. It must be nice getting to sit around in the medicine cat den doing nothing all day." He has no patience or kindness for his brother, frowning as the point approaches him and tries to start up some idle chitchat, whatever. The fact of the matter was, Perwinklepaw was just a waste of his time and he was thoroughly convinced he was faking all his supposed ailments for attention. The silver tom scoffed at the nest now laying out in the middle of camp, assumedly pulled out to clean or something rather than join them in the apprentice den proper. Just had to be special and different didn't he? And he was lucky too, he didn't have to see Hyacinthbreath's shadow everytime he passed a reflective surface, to see her face in every glance and her eyes in every stare. Sometimes he wished he could just pluck them out.
"What do you want?"
