with fur a shade akin to mud, bristle wears a striking coat of warm brown earth, charcoal stripes, and creamy white accents. as of yet, no scars lace his youthful frame, and his eyes are likened to the hue of a cloudless afternoon sky. bristle as a wiry and narrow frame with long legs and oversized ears. in his youth, many remark that his paws seem a bit too large for his small body, though he's certain to grow into them with time. a narrow face grants a sharp appearance, and thorny claws are akin to blades of ivory.

bristle is young, and as such, is still finding himself and who he will grow to be. for now, one might describe him as curious, rebellious, and even antagonistic. bristle is both a firm stickler for rules, while simultaneously choosing violence where there could have been words. other kits might see him as a bully, and while he seems willing to learn some boundaries, there's no doubt that the child has a fascination for the more violent side of a warrior's lifestyle. he's a small cat with big dreams, but whether or not he'll live long enough to achieve those dreams is another matter entirely.
at times, bristle can be insecure and desperate, especially in types of great stress. put him in a leadership position, and he's likely to make mistakes that other cats would not. in the same breath, he is ambitious and manipulative, and not above tricking his clan-mates for his own goals. in short, he is hypocritical, antagonistic, and prideful, but he isn't needlessly cruel or villainous. bristle is a follower of starclan and of the warrior code, it just so happens that he's prone to choosing violence over diplomacy. while he is loyal, that loyalty is to his clan, not necessarily to it's leadership.

as far as bristlekit knows, he was born into windclan with parents that were no longer present. in reality, the boy was found abandoned not long after he was weaned, and brought into the group by cats who had rescued him from the borders of the windy moor.
