⁺˚⋆。°✩₊ Did you hear? Howlingstar went to the gathering last night!

Green eyes narrow as she hears whispers coming from just outside the den. Howlingstar did what? Their leader had severely injured in the wolf baiting patrols...what in the name of Starclan was she doing traveling to the gathering? Especially when she had sent Raccoonstripe and Flycatcher in their places? The deputy rose to her paws, and started towards her leader's den. It was still very early, Sparrowkit had woken her up as he left the nursery to play with his denmates. But, if Howlingstar had indeed stayed in the camp, then she should be well rested after a night's worth of sleep.

The deputy paused outside the den's entrance and waited for approval before padding in. She could smell the blood from the older brown tabby's wounds. "Howlingstar." Her greeting was short, and suspicious. She could already tell that the whispers were true..."Did you go to the gathering last night?" The fur on her neck prickled ever so slightly, but she couldn't be angry with her leader. She would have done the exact same thing out of pure stubbornness...One of the only things keeping her from doing her duties was the stubborn tabby laying in front of her. It seemed they had several things in common.

Howlingstar had been snoozing the day away, her heart well and content after the night's proceedings. The Warrior Code had an addition, one that amended the mistakes of her own warriors. Thanks to the new law, hopefully no brand new warrior will take their independence for granted.

The sound of paws shuffling outside of her den wakes her. She blinks bleary eyes open to peer out, Flamewhisker's clipped voice reaching her. "Come in," She mews tiredly, lifting her head to look at her round-bellied deputy as she stands in front of her. Maybe she's still sleepy, but she thinks she spots a glimmer of anger in the ginger tabby's gaze. Did you go to the Gathering last night? She stares back at the other she-cat with a neutral expression, guessing she must have been fast asleep when she'd left. "Yes," She mews simply, saying nothing more. Whatever is coming her way, she's quite ready to hear it.
