Forgiveness came easy to Chervilshade, as though her judgment honeyed within a ghostly form, rotting into something sweet and cloying within her ribs. She carried the belief that kindness would always come back to her, like a fly that assuredly came back to the same saccharine. She would always return, leashed by the collar of her own hesitation. Perhaps she hadn't the willpower to truly think of it, as though rectitude dried her out, left her more brittle and glassy than she already was. There was little to be gained in mulling over the same thing over and over again, rolling it out until it was a mere scrap of what it once was. The dilute tortoiseshell trusted in Starclan, first and foremost, as her ancestors had always kept way with her steps before. The molly simply couldn't bring herself to hold a grudge, as if all of her ire had been directed towards candied self, melting and swirling against her insides. To keep a star of another, no matter how small, would only singe and sear her hand. Little Ghost found it best to only let go.

Flopped ears twitched in uncomfortable silence, with disconcerting and pallid frame to match. Dull eyes glazed over the tomcat's rather abrasive colors, like ripe fruit of sanguines and tangerines, garden of flame and ruination. She had always known the other as a hothead, a stubborn boy. Well, that was admirable to her. It was good to see cats stick to their convictions, never drifting along the earth like some spurned specter. "I-Is something.... something the matter....?"
