There is no denying the subtle flutter of trepidation in her chest as speckled paws cross the river surrounding RiverClan's camp and settle upon claimed land. Robinheart has not left camp in moons - she has not considered how she would feel departing from where her children remain. It feels wrong despite being allowed. However, Foxtail had suggested a walk and the tortoiseshell queen would be rude to decline a generous offer.

"I fear I have forgotten how lush the territory is," Robinheart murmurs with a faint smile, glancing sidelong at the lead warrior who treks beside her. His free time generously gifted to someone like her. It's enough to overtake the trepidation in her chest, brightening it with joy for his friendship. "Thank you for offering to escort me on a walk. It is… much appreciated," she continues as the duo venture further into the territory. Robinheart feels the tenseness of her hind leg and winces as she tries to stretch it out between strides. These walks should hopefully get easier once her children are apprentices and she becomes Moonbeam's own apprentice.

Speaking of apprentices, citrine eyes glimmer with excitement once the opportunity for conversation opens. "Pebblepaw is almost ready to become a warrior, isn't he? How do you feel about that?" Foxtail has proved to be a fine mentor - perhaps he might even take on one of Robinheart's kits after Pebblepaw graduates? The queen would like that… at least her heart would be a bit more at ease with Foxtail guiding one of her children compared to how she feels about Otterbite mentoring Foxpaw.

Foxtail exits RiverClan's camp and crosses the river with the speckled queen, and he wonders how she feels leaving camp for the first time in moons. The last time the lead warrior was confined to camp was when he was a kit, and he can't even remember what it was like... he was so young! He wonders if his own mother, Dawnflower, felt trepidation about leaving her kits in another queen's care... or when they received their apprentice names.

He glances over at his friend, catching that faint smile on Robinheart's maw. "I-I never imagined what it c-could be like to forget it," He mews back, with a light swish of his tail as the two trek along. For nearly every moment of the day, the lead warrior spends it out of camp. The day always feels busy— they need to patrol.... hunt.... and he needs to ensure his apprentices train. But he also needs to remind himself to take breaks.... and he couldn't feel happier spending it with his friend. "I'm s-sure it'll come back t-to you faster then you'll k-know," He tries to reassure Robinheart with a light smile, he can't imagine being confined to camp for so long! Robinheart stretches her bad leg and the tom holds back his own wince, as she winces at the tenseness... that's another thing he couldn't imagine going through. Robinheart has so much reliance... so much strength. And the fact that she had to heal while being away from her kits.

Excitement sparks in Robinheart's orange eyes, and his ears prick forward as she asks about Pebblepaw. It is true... Pebblepaw is nearly ready to become a warrior. "It.... I-It honestly feels surreal to t-think about," Foxtail responds as the two trek along. He didn't think the last six moons to go by so quickly... he felt so nervous when Smokestar entrusted him with his nephew after failing Eelpaw. "I'm r-really proud of him," Foxtail continues with a light smile, "It's g-going to feel weird without h-him around." He looks back over at the speckled queen, and his own excitement flashes in his eyes as he thinks about her kits. Won't they be joining their older brother in the apprentice's den soon?

"....Your kits become a-apprentices next moon, right? Are you excited to leave the n-nursery?"

"I hope you are never put in a position to forget what outside of camp looks like," Robinheart whispers truthfully. She knows Foxtail to be a busybody. She has known him for many moons and to imagine him campbound for as long as she? Well that would be impossible. It would require a horrific injury or illness of the patched tom – something Robinheart would wish upon no one. Such a train of thought is quick to depart at Foxtail's reassurance over the layout of the territory returning to her memory swiftly. "I'm sure it will. Let's just hope it comes back free of… memories." The last time she walked the territory was when she was rounded with kits, tail twined with Brookstorm's as they chatted idly. Gentle strolls just for the two of them. "Not that memories are bad, I just… I miss her."

She's floundering in the conversation and casts Foxtail an apologetic look. Fortunately their conversation drifts to Pebblepaw and his upcoming ceremony. "You should be proud of him. He will make an exceptional warrior – all because of your training and dedication to his growth over the moons." Robinheart's voice glows with pride for her friend. He has come such a long way from when he had first become a mentor. "And I'm sure he will still visit with you. I still spend time with Willowroot and I have not been her apprentice for many moons."

Their eyes meet in glimmers of excitement and Robinheart predicts just what he is about to say. It's a conversation so similar to one she has had with Lichenstar. "They will be apprenticed next moon, yes. Time has gone by so quickly," she breathes quietly, a bittersweet smile quirked upon her maw. "I am… nervous about leaving the nursery. But I am excited for entering a new phase of my life. And watching my children grow and thrive under their mentors once they are apprenticed. Who, uh, do you think they will get as mentors? If you had to guess," the queen poses the question with a tilt of her head, curious to see how a warrior's mind would sort through the options available to her offspring.
