Howlfire walked a little further ahead of Figfeather, tilting her head up towards the sky. It was a pleasant day, with bright blue sky, and white fluffy clouds gliding effortlessly across it. "It feels so warm today," Howlfire sighed contentedly. This sort of weather, Howlfire could deal with - warm but not unbearingly so. Having had a moment to enjoy the weather, Howlfire waited for Figfeather to catch up, and fell in line with her friend as they walked. They made idle chatter, Howlfire asking after Figfeather's kits, sharing her training experiences with Hawkpaw, and asking after Wolfpaw's training.

After a while, Howlfire stopped suddenly, amber eyes landing on something brown hidden by a bush near them. She approached it tentatively, not entirely sure what it was, and nudged it out with a paw. It looked almost like a mouse, but it was softer, did not move, and a different colour to the prey they caught. "It smells a bit like twolegs," Howlfire commented, gesturing for Figfeather to approach. There was also something more pleasant mingled with the twoleg scent too, but she could not quite discern what it was. "What do you think it is?"
