The blizzard and the early arrival of the leafbare had left Mallowtail with little time to reach out to Scorchstorm. After bravely navigating the storm today in pursuit of supplies, herbs, and prey, Mallowtail concluded up cuddling in her nest. During a spar, she had been unable to inquire about the safety of Sedgepounce and Scorchstorm after their incident. Her acquaintance had appeared to be in a state of emotional turmoil ever since Sunstar and Wolfsong vanished. Her tiny forepaws settle on her tail in attempts to keep her pawpads close as she catches sight of the lead warrior. "Scorchstorm," she calls out with a gentle smile.
She pats the ground beside her to attract the attention of the other she-cat and invites her to accompany her. Once her companion had relaxed and settled in, Mallow would purr quietly. "How are you doing, Scorch?" Her query is open-ended, so Scorchstorm might answer whatever she pleases. Mallowtail didn't mind hearing "I'm good," discussing their day, or even anything that had bothered her. The moor runner wanted Scorchstorm to express anything was on her mind, no matter how large or tiny, good or terrible, so she wouldn't feel compelled to tell if she wasn't comfortable doing so.
