Snailberry had been on her journey around camp until she saw a massive spider's nest weaved between tree branches, and awe is plastered on her face. ”Nyaa! So cool!” She chirps and gets lost in time, watching the spider sit in the corner of its nest, waiting patiently for unsuspecting prey. Her tail whips left and right before a sudden thought comes to her head, @DEERPAW. The young warrior prances back to find the bug loving enthusiast, much as herself to share this delightful experience. ”Nya! Deerpaw, come! Mreo!” She chants in between purrs, practically dancing on her toes similar to a ballet dancer before guiding the apprentice towards the spider's nest and points a paw. Once they've reached their destination, she flops into a loaf position and stares idly at the spider. The chittering sound of the birds then catches her attention as she starts watching them for a moment, forgetting that Deerpaw had even joined her. ”Nya! Deerpaw thinks cool?” Snailberry chitters curiously with an owlishly tilt of her head. This time, Bayingkit would not be able to reach the nest unless she majestically started floating in the skies.

White toes flex against the dirt as she yawns as she spots a small beetle skittering underneath a rock. ”Snailberry wishes she was a bug, nyaah...” Her voice is similar to a whine as she pouts her cheeks out. Snailberry's gradient tail pats against the ground as she places her chin on the ground and stares at an ant scouting a leaf. What did the world look like from an ant's perspective? What about a beetle or a spider? She wonders what their nests look like and if it's organized similar to a clan with similar positions or if it was just a chaotic mess like rogues lived in. It was too many thoughts to keep up with and she huffs, ”Snail wonders what bug world looks like, nya?” Her question isn't directed to anyone and simply a thought being spoken from lips.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ after ivorypaw and coltkit had been targetted, nightbird made it a point to personally get the prey her family would eat. there was still evil lurking within the walls, she wouldn't take chances with the young lives of her kittens.

on her way, her attention is pulled by excited chirping. she lands upon deerpaw and snailberry, squints her eyes to determine what all the fuss is about. she should enjoy the fact that some of her clanmates could find happiness in such a bleak time. but her ears flick backwards and her tail twitches as she approaches to get a better look.

she sees the beetle, a spider spinning a web. her lip curls at the sight of the bugs, fur along her spine rippling as the meandered. gross little things, no one needed that many legs. "bug world?" nightbird echoes, raising a brow. if they could see them crawling around, freeloading in thunderclan's camp, did that not mean they shared a world? "this is bug world, snailberry. there is only one world."

Greenleaf made the camp feel alive, not just with kittens, but with little bug pals too. The former was a general consensus from the elders, the latter, they got from watching Snailberry interact with the insects. Plenty of kittenhood had been spent hunting the six-legged creatures around camp, now that they were an apprentice (for less than a quarter-moon, mind), they felt as if their days of harassing the local population of beetles and spiders were long behind them. Instead, they chose to emulate what an adult would do, but when the only other adult seemed disgusted by bugs, their only source of inspiration was Snailberry. Tentatively, as if seeking permission, they shuffled closer to the ants, watching with great intrigue as they skittered about camp with seemingly no care in the world for the giants that roamed among them. They tucked their limbs into a loaf, a precautionary measure as their pupils expanded at the thought of catching one, impulses only tempered by empathy.

A little big world and a big cat world may have been the same thing according to Nightbird, but thanks to Snail, they could not help but feel a sense of fear that there may have been a little cat world where something larger than them roamed about. They wouldn't want to get stepped on if that was the case! With a voice too small to warn any attackers they were there, with legs too weak to push back against the weight of giants, Wolfpaw was perhaps just one or two thoughts away from an existential crisis. "Can you imagine how big fleas are to them?" The sepia mewed in awe, craning their neck over to ask Snailberry a very important question. Their voice almost hushed, as if beleaguered by the idea of the bug's hearing them and being unable to reply. "When fleas jump... does the ground shake for ants?"

Flinching at the loud, excitable chirping coming from somewhere. The long-limbed apprentice turns his head from where it had been prior, laying on top of his paws. Large, feathered ears twitching and swiveling towards the chirpy voice, he slowly turns his head at the one who... was talking to him. Who would willingly speak to him? Out of all cats. Kneading the ground with his dark touched paws, he lets his gaze roam over Snailberry. Studying the warrior with a blank stare. He blinks, opening his maw to decline whatever offer the warrior offered him.

He lets a small frown make its way onto his lips, and he huffs through his leather nose. Annoying... He raises onto his paws, stretching out his forearms with a small hum rumbling in his throat. Tail twitching, Deerpaw shifted his unruly figure away from his spot to follow the warrior wherever he wished to take him. He slithers up to where his clanmate... had stopped from a distance. He shuffled forward to stand next to Snailberry who was in her loaf position, he tilted his head up slightly. Hazel eyes roam over the multiple-legged creature. He forgets he was with a clanmate for a moment, ear twitching to Snailberry who had spoken to him. The spider had stolen his interest for a moment. "Ah– I l-like it. It's c-cool..." He answers the feline, with a slow nod.

The tortoiseshell's ears perk up from their always flattened form, as he spots another beetle skitter around near his paws. He likes beetles. Spiders and other insects were occasionally his favorite in passing. He wants to know how the bugs work... should he take them apart and examine their insides? His morbid and curious nature knows no bounds. His thoughts were interrupted by the voices of Nightbird and Wolfpaw, his tail twitched where it laid.

"The b-bug world?" He mumbles under his breath in confusion, craning his head forward with squinted eyes. Studying a couple of ants carrying a few bits of a leaf and carrying it off somewhere. Does the... bug world even exist?

Deerpaw is... quite fascinated by all the bugs in the big, wide world. Do bugs have a bug leader? If so do they follow clan life like how cats do? "Do... B-bugs ha-have... a c-clan?" He questions out loud, he wonders what bugs... even do.
