he didn't know what he thought of duskpool as his mentor. he was rather upset by it, but not showing it outside. what emotions did he show outside of neutrality anyways? the boy simply did as he was told. the first day of training was long and boring, learning about the other clans. Thunderclan, Riverclan, blah blah. He was bored, and it was really nothing he cared about. But hed still go back to camp and tell oleanderkit about what he had learned. He was sure she was even more eager to be an apprentice by now. But she still had time, unfortunately for her.
His russet body stiffened suddenly, and as duskpool instructed him, he tuned the smoke out. His hunting stance was a little lopsided, but he would not notice. In his head, he was perfectly moving across the grassy ground, forested gaze trained on the mouse sniffing the ground. He heard a hiss of annoyance, as if the tom could tell he wasnt listening. And he half wanted to respond for the male to shut up, but he chose quiet instead. He didn't want to hear another lecture anyways.
Foxglovepaw moved carefully, at least. Paws avoiding the crinkling alarm of his presence, before he dove forward-
The mouse darted, and he held his nose with both paws in pain as he ended up diving headfirst into the ground. It was a burning sensation, eyes rolling open and watering as they did. A hiss of anger escaped him, thrashing his paw and throwing leaves in the direction the small rodent disappeared off to. "Stupid. Fuckin. Dumb. Mouse," he hissed, his paw striking another innocent pile of leaves and throwing it all over.
@DUSKPOOL Mentor tag! But no need to wait!
