Since his argument with his mentor, he was pretty much mentorless. But Minkbreeze and VenomThroat were doing their best to help him out whenever they could for now until Sootstar decided who would be his true mentor.
He needed the help though, his spar with snakepaw making the tom realize how real this training to come was. And despite being scared, which, cough, he wouldn't admit openly, he was at least now prepared for it.
Coming back from a morning hunt, his crystal gaze held excitement, dropping his first successful piece of prey into the pile, a smaller vole. But it was still a catch! He had also picked a pretty big and blossomed white flower, it's petals many, and a name he would probably never know.
Blue orbs would catch sight of his ex mentors and he grimaced, turning the opposite direction of her before she could say anything to the tom. She was useless now.
But he had other business to get to, and the flower that he held in his jaws would be set down before a pretty white she, with eyes like another flower he seen. But he figured she would like this one more.
She had to, it came from him after all! Ever so gentle, he set the flower before her.
"Good morning, Whitepaw! Or should I say sugarpaw, since you're so sweet!" A half grin, and an eyebrow raised as he attempted to flirt with the female. Then he realized. That wasn't what he rehearsed. He had stumbled over his words! But, it still worked, so he went with it.
