( ) in the half moon since her arrival, robinkit has asked many questions. "why do i have to add 'kit' to my name? what's a medicine cat? who's that? who's that? when can i eat? there are other clans? can i be the leader? how do i start a clan? she's fairly certain most of her new clanmates are tired of her consistent voice, but she hardly cares. it's her job to know these things. she'll ask as much as she wants, thank you very much. today, as the spotted girl rises from her slumber, only one query is on her mind. she tries not to think a lot about birdie, preferring to refer to her mother as if the woman had just taken a long walk. but today, something lightningstone said comes back to her, and she can feel the questions swirling in her head. slipping from the nursery and glancing around, robin watches the clan bustle about for a few moments, formulating her plan.

tiny paws tap across the ground, pelt fluffed against a chilling wind, as the girl begins to walk with a purpose, striding towards the first cat she sees. sitting down abruptly in front of them, she gazes into their eyes. "what is starclan?" it's said bluntly, driven only by curiosity. "and do they live in the sky?" she thinks about waiting for an answer, but more questions pop up and she needs to get them out. "also, if they live in the sky, where do skyclan live? also, why does everyone refer to starclan as if they're something special? can i join starclan?"

// feel free to be the cat she's talking to, or a passerby :D

GOT A HEAD FULL OF SPIDERS

Frostpaw had just awoken and was trying to register everything that was going on, her tired gaze scanning the horizon as she try to wake up fully, of course, her peaceful silence would not last long as the newly appointed kit, Robinkit came striding up to her and began to bluntly ask her questions. Blinking awkwardly and a bit startled the apprentice's tail twitched and her ears folded onto her skull. "Uh...well..." she slowly trailed off, unsure how to explain what Starclan is, her paws shifting a bit before curling her tail around her paws.

"Starclan... they're Uhm... they're kinda like...guides?? And they uh...live in the stars at night? Also uhm...Skyclan lives in the pine trees I believe... uhhh I guess it's because there are cats who went there that were special to everyone? And... No, not exactly..." she would awkwardly explain to Robinkit, unsure how she could explain 'dead cats' to a kit without even mentioning it to them. Bi-color eyes flicking around hoping a warrior or someone who was more... qualified to explain this to the kit would come, and quickly before she is flooded with more unexpected questions that she had no clue to answer.

AS FAR AS I'VE HEARD, THE FIGHT'S STILL ON

Kelpie has been curious about this too - Starclan was some sort of legend here, religion even - strange spectral cats from beyond the grave. But the clans treated them as all knowing - if they were once just siblings and parents and kits like everyone else, did they become so after death? And why the stars? Why not spend the rest of their days in the water, or in the trees, or in the grass if that's what they'd liked? At robinkit's questioning, Kelpie perks up attentively, her own gaze following Frostpaw as the apprentice tries to awkwardly explain. It doesn't seem she knows all that much about them either, and her lip turns into a faint frown.

It occurred to him that one of the few lessons he had not impressed upon his young charges was StarClan because he was still coming to terms with their existence on his own. Thankfully, it wasn't as if it was something he alone needed to teach; the entire clan was capable of passing on what they knew and the youth absorbed the information given quite well, though perhaps a little creative interpretation on the side.
The dark tom wandered over, stopping alongside Kelpie with a nod in greeting but otherwise his attention drifted to Robinkit's inquisitive curiousity.

"StarClan is where cats go when they die. They are those who came before us who are much more knowledgeable than we are. So Frostpaw's description of 'guides' works very well." Hopefully this also answered the 'can I join StarClan' question as well. The answer is no, Robinkit. You can't right now. "StarClan formed the clans, divided us under leaders they chose and granted ninelives and gave us Medicine cats to help the wounded. They built the clans as they are right now, gave us stability and purpose..."
It was curious to him that they were five clans and not one, but he imagined one clan was far harder to control and manage than multiple ones with less cats. Regardless of whether one clan or many-there would be fighting as living beings are wont to do under any circumstances. Put two cats in a room and they will eventually wage a war on one another. One cat in a room will wage war on themselves.
Smokethroat slowly settled into a proper sit, tail looping around his paws, "There are five clans. We are RiverClan, we live and thrive alongside the river. There is WindClan of the moors, ThunderClan of the forest, ShadowClan of the marsh and SkyClan of the-" Kittypets, "-sparse tall trees near two-leg place."
