〔✦〕The entire hunting patrol was on edge. Always looking over at any little noise, fearing it might be one of the exiled Thunderclanners coming for them. Thankfully - if he could even say that - there weren't as many mouths to feed back in their makeshift camp. Roaringpaw has a shrew in his jaws as they return from their hunt. He's clearly tired from it, from everything that has happened today, but he'd made a promise to Coltkit before they left, and to go back on it didn't seem fair ( the poor kid was already down in the dumps, as anyone would be, and terrified of just about everyone now ).

He approaches the kitten, all alone now that Ivorypaw had earned her apprentice name, letting the shrew fall in front of him. "You should eat," Roaringpaw's voice is gentle as he sits down to relax just for a bit. He wonders if Orangepaw and Softpaw are okay. Do they miss him? He misses them already. He wants to go home. The flame-point shakes his head to drive the thoughts away, returning to his conversation with Coltkit. "After all, ya need all your strength for the battle moves I'm gonna show you!" He grins, hoping it would cheer him up. Maybe seeing the younger kit happy would make him happy, too.
