The Great Sycamore Tree had become a favorite of Leopardprowl's. Despite her large paws, the golden she-cat delicately balanced on an outstretched tree branch. Shining eyes stared down at her headstrong apprentice from overhead. The height promised a painful fall for any faulty, rushed movements. Not fatal, of course. "Alright, my fearlessly reckless apprentice. Your goal for today is to reach me." Well, that was only part of the goal. The real lesson revolved around how the stubborn apprentice pressed forward. A test upon his psyche. The tom acted with a lot of hot-blooded bravado - everything and everyone were obstacles that he could use his strength to push through. So, she had to wonder: how would he face an obstacle he had little experience with? Would he learn from his mistakes or would his temper hinder his progress? "Think of me as a squirrel. Your clan will go hungry if you can't reach me." And, most of all, Leopardprowl was curious if Wildpaw would swallow his pride and ask for assistance. Assuming, of course, that he struggled with her little test.

"LITTLE HELLIONS, KIDS FEELIN' REBELLIOUS"

The young tom gave the grand tree a wary side-eye look when he approached, following in behind his mentor after being dragged out from the camp that day. Just what was the she-cat planning today? He didn't need to wait long for an answer as he was told that he would be trying to reach the golden she-cat. He tilted his head in a quizzical manner before a confident grin filled his face. "Got it! Guessing your slow ass will need a head start before I begin pursuing? Otherwise this will be over all too quickly."
