When Siltcloud wakes in this strange place, she is alone - nobody around, no magical welcome into starclans waiting paws. Truthfully, she thinks this can't be starclan - and certainly, she understands why. The monster that lurks in her chest was not an honorable thing - no, it was cold and cruel, tearing into flesh and tasting blood and enjoying it. She'd done it for them - for shadowclan. For granitepelt. For loampelt. For lilacfur, her kits. But it didn't lessen the weight of her sins. It's something she'd long come to terms with, even while still alive - and her mind hadn't changed when she'd laid sprawled across the ground, choking on her last breaths. She's a monster of her own making, or perhaps one of blood and birth. It changes nothing - and what she wishes she could, she can't.

And so she vanishes to the darkness - lets the shadows drip across her dust hued pelt like ink, pooling across her until she almost forgets she was ever a cat at all. She slinks about - pacing, mind tittering and mocking as she mourns her sins. Echoes of 'mom' ring in her head on repeat; flashes of things that could've been and would never be. She'd had everything - had it all, until she didn't. Well... nearly all, but loampelt and her relationship was not her fault. No, that was starclans cruelty alone - one less sin for the dull eyed molly to bear.

And so she paces, and stalks, and slinks about - and she sleeps. The forest is strange, in it's eternal darkness - no stars shining overhead no matter how hard she tries to stare into it's depths. She hollows out a home here, for what it's worth - habits hard to break irregardless of any real need to eat, to sleep, to breathe. And most of all, to kill.

She says nothing when cats tread upon 'her' territory, but there's really no need for words when teeth and claws can get messages across just as well. It's strange, that one can hurt and bleed when they're already dead, but Siltcloud never stops to question it. A rabid thing, cruel and unfaltering, chasing away all who cross her path. Whether it's her penance, her punishment, or even her star-sent reward, she has no interest in tolerating the other denizens. They are not who she wants to see - to be with. They are not hers.

The telltale thud of pawsteps reaches her ears today, and tongue darts out to scrape against ivory fangs - sharp, deadly. The dark forest is hardly different from shadowclan, and she uses it to her advantage, stalking forwards on near-silent paws. Stealth comes easy to her, as easy as breathing, and she lacks none of it now. The cat before her is unfamiliar, she notes, taking in their frame and memorizing it just because she can. He is nobody of note, can't possibly be, probably just another wayward soldier of sootstars, and so she moves forwards on instinct - paws reaching out to strike blows as she leaps upon him, hoping to send him tumbling at the least. She wants him to go away - and really, she hardly cares if that means leaving while he can, or lying still beneath her paws. As long as he stops bothering her with his presence.
