// for rp/no angst reasons pls do not have your character verbally mention hazeclouds appearance in this thread! even if its positive :D

A bed of peonies had made its way into Hazecloud's trip around the connecting streams. At some point she had become distracted and departed from the shallows when she picked up the lovely sweet scent of blooming flowers. Carried off with the breeze, Hazecloud's gait grew more hurried, her tail curled high over her back while she bounded over the plains to rub her cheeks and sides against the bushes.

Dotted with petals of pink and white she proudly returned with a bundle of blooms to share. She managed to wrangle one of the cats in camp into letting her decorate their pelt. But she had asked so kindly, it was difficult to say no. What harm was a few minutes to spare with a Clanmate? When she considered her work exceptionally well, Hazecloud would back away with an approving smile. "Peonies look so great on you! They bring out your eyes so nicely." She purred loudly as she scooped up the rest of the blooms for her next fashion victim.

( tags ) Getting wrangled by another clanmate into decorating his pelt was not on his list of things to do today. Apparently, Hazecloud wouldn't be taking no for an answer. He says this, but it wasn't like he put up much of a fight against Hazecloud. The fight being a nervous stuttering of explaining he had to go on a patrol. Thankfully, someone else went in his steed. The warrior took a seat, moving if needed to aid Hazecloud in reaching certain parts of his body easily. Remaining silent to allow her to focus, he took note of the flowers she was using. Does she know? In the past, it was more common. The days where cats would decorate themselves and each other with flowers. Each flower had a meaning and he was unsure if Hazecloud just picked these flowers on a whim or truly meant it. Good health. Are you wishing that for me?

His line of thought would end when she finished her work and announced that the flowers suited him and brought out his eyes. He flustered, fur prickling at the comment. He hasn't been told before that a part of him looked nice, so it brings a pit of warmth to his stomach. It doesn't help that she says it with pride, proud of her work. Ah! She's leaving already! Hurriedly, he whips around to call out to her fleeting form, "T-thanks Hazecloud!" And then she was off. Now he's left shuffling his paws around, still thinking about her nice comment about this new look. I guess it couldn't hurt to leave it for the rest of the day?
