camp PRODUCT OF TODAY // open

" Just look at them showing their affection to one another with no care in the world!. He did not even have the spine to congratulate you for becoming an apprentice." Crawlingheart would spat as he hissed this words into his son's ear who twitched the ear at the very words. Both of them would stare right across camp at Thistlesmoke who was sharing prey with his mate. There was no secret how much Lividpaw's father despised his former mate after having cheated on them with a molly, a secret that had been revealed not long after his and Basilpaw's birth. That bedrayal had completely destroyed his fathers heart and now all he ever did was glare with resentment at their former mate whenever they where around in camp especially when Cinderberry were at their side.

To make matters worse Crawlingheart took wittness of when Thistlesmoke started to groom one of Cinderberry's ears. A display of affection that made the tom snarl underneath their breath." Lividpaw you better not become anything like them. You better not grow up to disgrace me too. " Words that parted his fathers mouth with venom, words that Lividpaw had heard before. " I won't disappoint you." He repeated the promise he had made with them. A promise he was planning to keep if it meant to keep his father calm and under control.

He had full intention to become a proper and honorable warrior like his father demanded him to be, to the clan and even his future mate if he ever would find himself one. That was how he had been raised from the start to be, the true meaning behind his name. To anybody else his name was referencing the color on his fur but the true meaning of his name rested with his father's feelings for his former mate. " You better not - you better become a greater warrior than that spineless snake ever could dream of becoming." Crawlingheart wished nothing more then for Lividpaw to grow up and surpass Thistlesmoke in every possible way to get back at them for the pain they had inflicted on them. Thistlesmoke who cared so much about his own legacy to leave behind one day. To get outshined by his very own son he never had wanted would be the perfect revenge. It would make them regret for ever deciding to deceive Crawlingheart so easily.

Suddenly their conversation had to end once Crawlingheart was being summoned for a patrol. " Things are not going to be easy from here on out so be prepared and make sure to learn everything Needledrift has to teach you." Was the departing words before Crawlingheart left his son side to join the group. Left was Lividpaw who still was staring at the two mates, his eyes having not blinked even once.

// i dont want anyone to have heard the conversation between livid and his father since his father was very hush-hush when speaking to his son!

[ ༻❄༺ ] One thing Snowpaw never thought of or to take in gratitude of having dead parents or parents who loved each other until death was, she didn't have to hear the banter of them expecting so much from her. Yet of course, Snowpaw didn't know what exactly the two had been chatting about only that they had been staring at two mates across the room from each other before Crawlingheart left and Lividpaw just sat there...staring. Humming a bit she approached the other. One thing she would never understand is why Basilpaw even care for his own brother when Lividpaw and his father seem to be the ones to interact moreso than Basilpaw did. It seemed to her they treated the other more as an outcast and nothing more.

"Its rude to stare" she stated coolly, she didn't know much about Lividpaw's and Basilpaw's family drama but she still didn't like how Basilpaw was always seemed to be left out of everything that went on between them. Especially when Basilpaw always talks about how great they were, and she couldn't even see it. Yet, perhaps in the moons to come she will see it, yet for now she felt some distaste with Lividpaw and his father.

Her gaze glance back towards the two mates remember seeing the hatred and disgust lingering on Crawlingheart's face before he had left and she wondered, was she teaching Lividpaw to... hate? A frown peered on her maw, "You know, you shouldn't always listen to what your parents say, sometimes adults let their own hatred cloud their judgement" she hummed, remembering seeing how Smogmaw (through the holes of the Nursery wall) tore Grantiepelt apart, and hearing of Siltclouds and Granitepelt's misdeeds... and now here was this, the new generation already learning to...hate.

Reactions: LIVIDSMOKE

It seemed like someone had paid attention of his observant staring even calling it for being rude. Lividpaw wouldn't necessarily call it that but he suppose they made a point to know if someone was staring you down from the back. Most would probably feel uncomfortable by that. Putting this into his mind for the future the dark pelted apprentice finally tore his gaze away from Thistlesmoke and his mate to blankly stare at whoever had decide to interupt. " Didn't realize i did." he bluntly stated to the other apprentice who his brother had grown a fondness for. It was hard for him to not have noticed the friendship that seemed to blossom between the two when all Basilpaw ever did was talk about them whenever the two had time to hang out.

Snowpaw's attention seemed to be drifting away to the warriors he had been staring at, and as he followed his gaze back at them too flinked a ear over the molly's remark. Hate?. Lividpaw looked back at them puzzled wondering what exactly had fed these words coming out from her mouth. Had she been staring at them from a distance? observing their interaction?. Just a little bit he started to understand what she meant with staring being rude.

" That's random to say. Is there a reason for you to inform me about this?". he challenged, puzzled if she was going to contunie on further on this topic or if she would drop it there. If anything he was curious over what had brought her to share such a thing. It had never happened before. For anyone to really say anything. Family matters could be personal and private. Not everything was clearly put out there on the surface. In the first place...was it really him she should be sharing this with?. The one she should feel concernd about over the future.
