large and lithe, dustcall is easily recognizable by their long, dense coat of fur. they appear bulky and muscular, their strong but slender frame hidden beneath wave upon wave of their thick, coarse brown pelt.

dustcall is an oft-unsettling creature, a sentinel of steady stone polished off with a tendency to ramble. their sentences twist and curve together most of the time, occasionally layering with their accent to make understanding them a feat worthy of odes of praise. they are typically stoic and somewhat aloof, remaining isolated even within the company of their clanmates. their stare is focused, often unblinking, and they are hardly ever distracted from their goals or the environment around them. they are very much not a charismatic cat, their presence easily making interactions tense if not carefully guided. they have a dry sense of humor, and speak in a voice flat and mostly devoid of emotion.
he is highly confident in himself, but understands that he is not totally infallible. he takes his mistakes in stride, admitting fault when such admittance is due. however, when he finds another in the wrong he tends to hold their mistake over their head for an unnecessary amount of time. he is typically rigid and inflexible, unwilling to compromise or meet in the middle. they are highly protective of their clan, loyal and devoted to the protection of those they care for.
he is devoted primarily to the laws of the land, believing that a certain degree of order is required for a good society. he holds discipline in high regard, and prides himself on being firmly in control of his emotions and actions. in his eyes, everyone is obligated to obey laws to the best of their ability, and that includes those in power as well. those who lead must be obeyed, but they must also obey their own rules and understand that they are not above the law. dustcall is loyal to those in positions of authority, but he will be among the first to call for their removal if they blatantly break rules for no good reason. he holds the importance of laws in higher regard than morality—whether something is “good” or “bad” does not matter to him, so long as it is legal. of course, he is not so stupid as to think that all laws are meant to be followed all the time; he was among one of the first to agree with the choice to trespass onto thunderclan territory when the clan was starving. he is able to set aside his adherence to laws when his own life may depend upon breaking them.
overall, dustcall is a wise cat, skilled at reading others and determining their motivations. she is good at reading body language and understanding what the goals and angles of other cats, ally or enemy, are. she has a strong intuition and good gut instinct, and is always highly alert and aware of her surroundings. her perceptive nature makes her difficult to sneak up on. she is skilled in survival, and could certainly make it on her own if she weren’t so attached to her clan.
