FIGHTING IT IS HOPELESS ————————————
Being the leader was.. every kit's dream, right? Carpkit wasn't sure. She liked playing pretend leader, but maybe it wasn't for her! Maybe she could be a medicine cat, and heal everyone's hurts- like when Cicadakit bumped his nose on that rock! She could do what Ravensong was doing with Squishpaw, too! That sounded like fun. But she was going to try out this.. this leader thing first. It couldn't POSSIBLY be that hard, right? After all, Cicadastar did it! It looked easy.
Carpkit found herself perched on a little rock- well, little to most of the warriors, but for a kitten, she looks just fine and happy on it. She had her shoulders squared, her voice raised as she shouted to whoever was listening. Afterall, Carpkit- no, that was wrong, Carpstar was all important today! She had a meeting to lead! "All those... uh.. ALL THOSE old enough to swim! Get over here!" Carpkit demanded.
Sparkling eyes shifted to the poor- or the happy- soul that happened along first. A grin split on the kit's face, her tail raised and ears perked forward. Really, the small kit was doing everything she could to make herself look a bit bigger. Maybe it wasn't working out so hot. "You! Um... shoot, what's your name again?" She blinked at the apprentice in earnest, head slowly continuing to tilt as she waited for an answer.
