SHOALPAW.
Guest
Today, she'd gathered moss for the elders. Her and another apprentice, Magpiepaw. It was not a hard task, something she was capable of, so Shoalpaw was not too dissatisfied with her work. Maybe she could have gathered it a more neatly? She always found something to nitpick about everything she did. 'You're getting good at this move!', her mentor says, but she doesn't see it. Doesn't feel it. She was just a little too slow. 'You're a natural at swimming, aren't you?' No. Her movements weren't efficient enough, weren't elegant enough, and she looked like a fool.
She looked towards the other apprentice, mismatched eyes looking at their bounty. "If we need more, the elders will certainly tell us," she murmured softly around the moss she carried. It didn't come out right, she nearly dropped it, and she wasn't even sure if they heard her.
For a moment, she looked at their eyes, similar to her own. It fit them more, just as she'd thought.
'Hopefully, they won't have any ticks,' she though to herself as they arrived at the den, ready to give the elders some new bedding.
