SHADOWCLAN VALENTINE'S DAY PROMPT EVENT
Love is in the air, or something is in the air, it's ShadowClan - there is some kind of smell going on at all times but whether its the smell of ROMANCE or just the swamp water as the snow melts is up to you! This February the ShadowClan HP team has come together with the soul purpose of making ya'll like one another whether you WANT TO OR NOT - so check out these cute prompts for your kitty and those they hold closest and earn yourself a beautiful new badge for your collection made by Jay!
These prompts are meant to be platonic, familial or romantic depending on the context - feel free to make adjustments to them to fit whatever idea you are pushing for with them.
In addition to the available prompts you can request a ‘personal’ prompt where your character will be given a ‘Valentine’ to do said prompt with.
This is optional and the prompt will also be vague as to allow platonic/romantic subtext depending on what you’re comfortable with. If you do not wish to be given a Valentine then you may instead do an additional prompt from the given list instead!

❤︎ For each prompt you do you must make a reply to another person's prompt thread.

❤︎₊ ⊹ Sharing a meal together is a good way to bond, but you have to catch it first and that’s sometimes a team effort.
❤︎₊ ⊹ Carrionplace is full of many odd things, you find something that reminds you of someone. Maybe it would make a good gift.
❤︎₊ ⊹ With the snow beginning to melt the marsh is especially wet and muddy and slips and spills are bound to happen. Navigate this landscape together and help one another stay on your paws!
❤︎₊ ⊹ Many cats in ShadowClan like to collect odd baubles and some of these look nice tucked in fur, perhaps dressing yourself up a bit might get you more attention.
❤︎₊ ⊹ The air is still cold and the stones at the edge of camp are free of snow at last, with only a little room on the rocks for cats to lay. Will you share a spot to sunbath or fight to keep it to yourself.
❤︎₊ ⊹ Flowers have many meanings and most are positive. Pick a flower you most associate with your character and why and do some general writing symbolism relating to it.
❤︎₊ ⊹ A red string of fate is symbolic for destined partners, someone sends a yarnball from carrion place rolling into camp and you find yourself tangled with another cat!
❤︎₊ ⊹ Leaf-bare has caused debris to fill up in the thunderpath tunnels. Sticks, leaves, branches and broken pieces of foliage form large clumps that would make navigation through them difficult. You and some others are tasked with clearing out this debris, but a sudden burst of nasty weather means you'll have to take shelter! How do you pass the time with one another as you wait out the storm?
❤︎₊ ⊹ Whispers in the wind are saying that love tends to bloom in this season. Write on your character's perception of love. Is love important in their eyes? What does love look like to them? Do they have any past experiences with love that are significant to their character?
❤︎₊ ⊹ Lots of ShadowClan cats need to refurbish their nests this time of year, and with snow starting to melt in certain areas of the territory, it is easier now to gather materials like reeds, sticks, and moss. While you and some clanmates are out collecting said materials, conversation begins to flow - what do your characters like about their nests? Does anyone have a preferred way to organize their bedding? Are there any funny nesting stories to share?
❤︎₊ ⊹ Sharing tongues is a tradition as old as time itself. It's an act of comfort and camaraderie, a sign of trust and respect. Oftentimes, gossip & rumours about clanmates and sometimes even secrets are shared over a grooming session.
