It's that time of year! a little later than others but ShadowClan's Winter Mass Adopts! Be sure to sign up your litters here and they will be placed in a separate thread ( To Be Linked ) as soon as we have at least 4 mass adopts!


RULES

• The character must be active in the clan (on the census) to have their relations put up on the mass adopts!
• These adopts will be first come, first serve! If you would like more control for these please make your own adoption thread!
• The ShadowClan HP team will approve these as soon as they can but don't hesitate to ping us reminders in the discord!
• Make sure the genetics you supply are approved by the Geneticists in the discord of the Geneticist board!
• When applying for an adopt make sure to follow any guidelines given!

Rules & Guidelines: A litter of kits born to a shadowclan queen on all hallows eve. Their sire is unknown, and their mother refuses to speak on the matter. Other than this, they are simply typical kits.
These kits turned 2 moon old as of 11/31 and will be aging realtime on the 31st of the month
There is no required naming theme, however there is brownie points for picking names that start with "S"
This kit is not cannon fodder and cannot be killed until you've played them for at least two months realtime. Conversely, they must stay within their preset clan for two months real time before you can move them (barring ic consequences).

Rules & Guidelines: Frostbite and his siblings are lost princes/princesses of a mountain kingdom far away. Their mother, Snow Blossom, was forced to flee after the king found out she had been cheating on him with his brother by realizing she was pregnant. He ordered to have her killed, which sparked a bloody civil war. Heavy with kits and having nowhere to go, a kind stranger allowed her to stay with them, safe for a time from harm. After she had her kits, she was only able to nurse them until they were nearly ready for their first real meal. Snow Blossom had to give her kits away to improve their chances of survival. These kits know their mother's name, and that she is as white as newfallen snow.

These cats ended up in the marsh colony at some point and chose to stay in Shadowclan when the colonies became clans. They vaguely recognize each other but aren't quite sure....

The plan is for them to approach each other and ask questions about where they came from and Frostbite will be like hey do you know your mothers name and one of them will answer and they can all be like HOLY SHIT,,,Or something similar.

At birth, they were given cold, mountain themed names!
They are 47 moons old now and age on the 9th of each month!
Activity is at least 10 posts a month!

- Ferndance's family has a lot of behind-the-scenes lore and traditions as they're a migratory colony of cats and don't engage with clans. I can go through them with anybody interested but a large part of growing up in the family is the freedom of choice that the kittens had. They could do anything without consequence so long as it didn't hurt their family because it was all a 'learning' experience, which could lead to interesting consequences as an adult.
- These cats have been in ShadowClan since its first week at the request of their parents! They have no clue why but they would be aware that their parents had no clue that clan life was so permanent.

- the littermate litter will include 2 slots. They will age on the 25th of each month (Willow is currently 25 moons)
- the naming theme for the littermates would include either trees, plants, or royal themes
- the younger siblings will be 10 moons, ageing up on the 1st of each month. There are 2 slots.
- the naming theme would involve royalty, plants, animals, day and night, and the elements
- Willowburn currently would be supportive of his siblings, though growing up he was the spoilt one under their parents until the arrival of the younger siblings. Though in future, depending on IC events and journey, he may turn on his siblings. So be aware of family drama later down the line.

Rules & Guidelines:
-Through maggotfurs's mom they are related to viridianskies(npc, deceased) and @greywhisker. Through maggotfurs's foster parent they are indirectly related to sproutkit(npc,deceased) @mothpaw.(deceased) @Snailcurl. (deceased)
- These kits are 17 moons old aging on the first of the month. By shadowclan standards they would be warriors.
- No insulting or disturbing names! Maggotfur was the purposeful exception due to her circumstances, these kits on the other hand would have happy names picked with love.
- These are born and bred shadowclan kits, with parents who were part of the marsh group. They are not allowed to leave shadowclan excluding ic consequences such as exile.
- You must play these characters actively for at least three months before being allowed to kill them. Dropping them before that point will result in rehoming.

These kits were raised by loving if busy parents. Wolfbite (father) while not in love with Ivycurl (mother) would've helped raise the kits, viewing them as his duty to further shadowclans ranks. They may or may not know maggie is their half-sibling; they would have never been told by either parent, as their father has disowned and abandoned her due to believing she caused the death of her own mother (viridianskies) during childbirth, and ivyfrost simply doesn't want to deal with the drama of it - but it's not exactly a secret to the rest of the clan and so they may have heard rumors or found out in other ways. At the start, Maggotfur genuinely hates these kits, regardless of personality or temperament, due to the fact they got the loving family she always wanted - however, I'm open to having them get along in the future though it will take a lot of ic development.

- these cats are 25 moons. older than serpentspine but younger than chilledstar!
- there are four (4) slots!
- these cats will join the clan in their beginning! it is likely they've been told about chilledstar and serpentspine ( though they would be under the belief that chilledstar is a molly )
- they can feel however they wish about their siblings, however, jagged would not have been outright hateful. he also would not have told them about having killed chilledstar
- they must stay in shadowclan!
- chilledstar knows nothing of these cats at all! the resemblance would be uncanny but chklled does not know they have younger siblings elsewhere but they would be able to recognize chilledstar by their own unique markings
- jagged was not the most present dad but he was around for these kits a lot more than he ever was for chilledstar and serpentspine. they feel however they wish about their father but he was absentee, even if he did express that he loved them.

─ Born in August of 2022, 21 moons old currently (May).
─ Three slots, FCFS. Any gender goes. Please do not plan to kill them anytime soon, I'd love for this family to be roleplayed out for a while!
─ I'd like for these characters to be at least casual enough to remain on the census! If inactivity persists, I might put the slot(s) back up for adoption.
─ No negative names! They were named after ShadowClan's home, virtues and qualities. (ex. Swamp, Shade, Dark, etc.)
─ These kits have been assigned to a different caretaker when they were just two moons old due to their mother falling ill. They remained under the care of this cat for the remainder of their kithood; they might feel positively or negatively about this. Perhaps they felt bitter about their mother getting "replaced", or they even accepted this new caretaker as their new mother. Up to you!
─ I'd prefer if they had a good relationship with their older sibling Mirepurr while they grew up. They spent a majority of their time looking after these kits, even to the detriment of their apprentice training, so they were obviously very loving towards them. Now that the trio has grown, I don't mind whether they feel that Mirepurr is "too much" or remain affectionate, as long as they don't outright start hating them for being a very caring sibling!​

─ No specified age, but must be currently at least 3 years old.
─ FCFS. Must be DFAB. I don't mind if you plan to kill them eventually, but I'd prefer at least a few months of interactions before you do.
─ No specific activity requirement.
─ Was part of the Marsh Colony, but any origin is fine. Gave birth to Mirepurr in May of 2022. Fought in the Great Battle alongside their mate, who died in the process. Was already pregnant with their second litter by then, so they pushed forward against all odds, and joined ShadowClan. Gave birth to their second litter in August of 2022.
─ They became too ill in October of 2022 to look after their litter. They spent a long period of time (moons or even a year, up to your discretion) in the medicine cat's den, unable to recover; and especially with Bonejaw refusing to treat patients around this time, their fate seemed dire.
─ Akin to a miracle, they pulled through by an inch of their life, but at a cost. They felt the disconnect between their offspring, and it's up to you if they tried to rekindle the relationship or never tried to act as a mother again.
─ Today, they are a warrior, but still has to take it easy as to not let their sickness sap all their energy. I imagine this is a chronic health issue, perhaps a very weak immune system, you can choose whichever you like with some research!​

─ No specified age, but must have been at least 1 year old by October of 2022.
─ FCFS. Any gender.
─ No specific activity requirement.
─ Either got assigned to or volunteered to nurse Mirepurr's younger siblings when their mother fell ill. The litter was two moons old at the time, and remained under this character's care until the beginning of their apprenticehood in December.
─ The relationship between them and the kits can either be positive or negative! I'd imagine with Mirepurr being around to help so much as an apprentice, the bond between them and the caretaker is positive though.​

rules & guidelines: these characters will be mates, and the parents of shadowkit, pitchkit, lynxkit, waspkit, and owlkit. here is a link to the original adopts for the litter. we have some basic info about the characters, but you are free to make them your own, flesh them out, and give them new names! also, as long as the genetics are the same (ie lilac tabby or high white), you may change up their designs however you'd like. our basic plot for this is that these two are very proud and loyal to shadowclan, and named their kits after strong shadowclan things. they put pressure on their kits to be good warriors, but are not abusive or mean.

violet and stag's romance is a story of eternal, intense devotion. both born members of the marsh group under briar's rule, they were raised with the fiercely loyal ideals of the group they belonged to. violet was fiercely competitive and ambitious, eager to rise to the top of the group and become one of briar's strongest supporters. stag, her best friend since kithood, was eager to support her, padding after her with nothing but love. as young cats, they were told by their parents that their duty was to protect and help grow their group, and as they grew into adolescence, romantic prospects began to appear. neither made a move for many moons, and their dynamic grew only stronger, until most in the clan were waiting for the two to become mates. both in their early adulthood when the great battle occurred, they fought for their group, and when the clans were formed, both remained with the marsh group, turning into shadowclanners. taking on the names violetfrost and staghawk, they both gave in to their wants and officially became mates.

as time passed and shadowclan grew around them, staghawk and violetfrost attempted several times to conceive. most attempts were met with failure, only one succeeding, which resulted in a still-birth for violetfrost. devastated and convinced they wouldn't be able to ever have kits, the two stopped trying for a time, content with helping their clans in other ways. a miracle occurred this new-leaf. violetfrost discovered she was pregnant early in the season and both her and staghawk were overjoyed at the news. now, their kits are three moons old and the new parents are impressing into them the importance of loyalty, and the history of their clan. needless to say, these kittens will be quite the shadowclan warriors.
