With an early leaf-bare comes bitter memories - of cold snow and empty bellies, of hunger and sickness and death. It is a world she wishes her kits to never know - and yet, it is simply a fact of life, especially her in shadowclan. Ternfrost watches her kits like a hawk, blue eyes flicking from one figure to the nest every now and then - never intervening unless truly necessary, but never letting them stray to far from her sights either. Of the three of them, it is Cornflowerkit who resembles her the most she thinks - not in blue tripes or a white head, but in silver pelt and tabby whorls. And, perhaps most importantly of all, in attitude. " Have yu been learning? " there is genuine curiosity hidden beneath her tone when she speaks, peering down her muzzle and pulling her child closer with long tail.

her attitude is only ever been soothed and calmed by the honey like balm that comes from her mother. she's like a ticking time bomb, a lot of the times, willing to bite and snap at anyone who agitates her just a little too much. it's not a hard feat, to be quite honest, but at least she has ternfrost. she pushes herself into her mother's fur, quietly humming before nodding her head. she has been learning, she thinks.

"yes. you know, I'm gonna be a warrior like you. strong. that way I can protect you and rainbowkit. and greywhisker, and ivorykit. so I'm learning to be a protector."

seemed easy enough right. with the right amount of blood sweat and tears, she could do anything. and all she wants to do is to protect those she loves. it's not like the list is long but it's enough. she can do it.
