〔✦〕During his moon-long stay at Gentlestorm's den, Roaringpaw had noticed little things about his clanmates that he hadn't previously paid attention to. When it came to the kits, the apprentice saw Ivorykit hung out with Scarletkit most, practically glued by the hip to the other she-kit. Until fairly recently, that is - Ivorykit was now a shell of herself, outcast and alone. It reminded him of himself, but it was so much worse to see it happen to a kitten; it was also terrifying, to see the full scope of the conflict in ThunderClan. Kits were easily manipulated to by family, Roaringpaw didn't have to think twice on who to accuse of poisoning Scarletkit's thoughts like that. He couldn't imagine any other reason why the two she-kits wouldn't be friends anymore, if not for Ivorykit's origins so similar to his own.
The flame-sepia enters the nursery with a vole he'd just caught on patrol - noticing Scarletkit and her littermates playing right outside - some instinct surging through him to check on the alabaster kitten and hear just what had happened between herself and Scarletkit, although he was confident in his hypothesis. She is alone in her nest, and the sight makes his heart ache for her. "Hi Ivorykit," he greets, his voice worried. He sits beside her, while keeping some distance as to not overwhelm her. This could be a difficult topic to touch on, and he himself wasn't sure how to tackle it. "Did something happen with you, kiddo? Why aren't you playing with Scarletkit?" He asks gently, staring down at her concernedly.
