☘︎ SKYCLAN MASS ADOPT SIGN-UPS ☘︎​

It's been a long time coming, so here are SkyClan's mass adopt sign-ups! Feel free to plug your SkyClanner's parents, siblings, etc into the sign-up sheets for people to adopt out! These will be added to the official SkyClan mass-adopt thread if approved!

Please adhere to the following rules:
- The adopted characters must be in SkyClan! The point of mass adopts is to bring characters into our Clan, so please don't plan for plots where your adopted slots will be going elsewhere!

- Please note that by signing up, you are giving me permission to accept the characters on your behalf. If you want more stringent rules or guidelines or want to choose these slots yourself, you should make a more personalized adopt thread! These will be first come first serve for the most part, unless the application does not follow the guidelines you lay out.

- The character you are adopting out slots for must be on the census and be actively played!

- Realistic genetics must be used per Tabby Tales rules, so don't write "free for all" please! The geneticists on site are more than happy to help you figure out genetics for your adopts. :)

Rules & Misc.:
A group of kits born to loving kittypet parents, these kits were given their first names by their twolegs not their parents as is tradition in their family - only being told apart by their respective white markings and eye colors. They may or may not recognize eachother right away due to this and the amount time spent apart, but I would very much like for them to all realize at some point or another!

Momo and his sibling were born as a pair of well-pampered purebred cats, expected to look down upon the strays that lived in the Twolegplace and carry on their family lineage with pride. When they were adopted out to a family friend living across the street from their parents, visits were still frequent, and over time, Momo's sibling became the favoured child in the eyes of both owner and parent alike. They were seen as being smarter and stronger, and the favouritism was something that Momo noticed and grew to resent about his own sibling. Eventually, Momo was allowed to roam outside and, through sheer luck, found his way to SkyClan where he became a daylight warrior, hiding his association with feral cats from his family and hiding the resentment his family felt for his new friends from his clan.

When Momo starts disappearing more (ie: helping the clan rescue their lost members), his sibling grows suspicious and decides to follow him out to the woods. Just as Momo feels jealousy for the attention his sibling gets, the sibling feels jealousy for the freedoms and purpose that Momo has as a Daylight Warrior. It is that which motivates them to join SkyClan as a Daylight Warrior as well, and though the two siblings likely still love each other, there is unaddressed family trauma and resentment towards each other's circumstances that will have to be explored ICly to establish a stronger bond than the ones provided by their old environment.

Genetics: no specific genetics, basically a free-for-all as long as it realistically makes sense like silver mackerel tabby, brown mackerel tabby, black smoke, brown smoke, solid black, etc. the only requirement is that they are norwegian forest x maine coon mixes.
Rules & Misc.: link to the old adopts, but would have been recent joiners and had japanese-aesthetic names to match their brother's rogue name - youkai.

Rules & Misc.: link to the old adopts, but would have been recent joiners and had greek-aesthetic names to match their brothers' rogue names - pollux and castor.

Rules & Misc.:
-> was close to pearlkit & practically took care of her before pearl was abandoned on skyclan territory. Storm probably would have been distraught over their parents taking out Pearl & never returning with her.
-> Storm is Pearls half-brother, with a different father who died when Storm was 5 months old. Storm would remember that his mother was not always neglectful, but when her first mate died is when everything went downhill. The second mate she took was not a father to Storm, and shouldn’t have been a father to anyone; he was Pearl’s dad.
-> Storm grew up as a kittypet with his Mother, and lived there until he was about 6 months (Pearl was only one month at the time). They then went to live on the street after their Mother took them to live with her new mate.
-> Would prefer if he was kept as a male! But you can icly change any presentation/identity <3
-> NAME CAN BE CHANGED upon joining skyclan, or can be kept! I’d like for a joining thread to be made, but how he heard of Skyclan is up to you (whether its running away after what their parents did or anything else)
-> I would love for some threads between them, as they’re meant to be a good brother sister duo! Pearl looks up to him & would blindly defend him
-> this is a very important character to pearls story. if inactive for over a month without any communication, i’ll have to rehome them ;o;

Rules & Misc:
  1. Your characters will be newcomers to Skyclan. You have the option to backwrite their arrival, having followed after Dog, and must adhere to Skyclan's newest law on joiners. Please refer to this link
  2. They will be required to take part in the warrior-training program like Dog and eventually become full warriors.
  3. Given their upbringing, your characters should possess a rugged appearance. Raised in a two-leg alleyway, they often bear the scars of territorial disputes that result in violence or death.
  4. Your characters can have varying degrees of closeness or distance from Dog. They didn't spend much of their early lives together, having grown old enough to venture on their own by the time Dog was born. A potential plot point could involve their quest to find Dog after their mother's untimely death from an unknown illness, driven by the need for answers.
  5. They can also include living with two-legs at a few points in their lives like Dog or leave it out completely.
  6. Feel free to give your characters complicated or happier perspectives on life, and these views can influence their name choices, styles, and more.
  7. Their mother was loving, but their father was neglectful and disappeared after Dog's birth. He was absent from all of their lives.
  8. You have creative freedom in choosing their names, genders, stories, looks (as long as they follow genetics), and personalities.
  9. If your character is non-albino and has white in their pelt - they can share the trait of heterochromia with Dog which are yellow and blue.

Age: anywhere within the range of 22-28 moons; must age real time
Genetics: amab SH blue tabby with no white (carrying chocolate, longhaired)
Rules & Misc.:
- This character has a preset name of "Stormy" which can be changed upon joining the clan.
- This character can be a loner, rogue, or outdoor kittypet who joins skyclan upon adoption; however a big plot point is that he is experienced with life outside of a twolegnest in some way or shape before ever joining
- Personality is ffa but must at least fit into the outline given in the backstory. His existence is meant to cause some tension in the family, but this can be subject to change depending on how you write and play the character. This backstory is not a 'misunderstanding' in any way - he did in fact cheat on her with at least one neighboring she-cat, though you are welcome to have him have whatever reasons for this you wish. Other than this, they had a 'picture perfect' love story - though mottledove was very naïve, sheltered, ad idealistic at the time, so this may not have been the whole truth.
- Y/C would know Mottledove as Chiara or Kiki, and has not seen her in six moons. He is unaware she was pregnant, nor that he has kits. Mottledove currently has no interest in getting back with Y/C, nor letting him have any part in the kits life, though may be convinced to change her mind depending on ic factors
- You will be added to the family discord once adopting this slot
A love that could never be, a young kittypet named Chiara bumped into a stray roaming her yard. It was love at first sight - the young woman falling head-over heels for the stranger, his charisma and sweet words unmatched. But things were not meant to be - one day she catches him with another neighboring kittypet, and their once perfect romance crumbles. Soon after she realizes she's pregnant, leaving her terrified. When her strange behavior and sudden weight gain finally catches her twoleg owners attention she is dumped at a shelter with no warning.

But whispers pass through metals bars of forest dwelling cats, of a life of freedom that could await those left behind. And when sure enough a rescue patrol shows up, the molly is quick to leap at the opportunity to flee. Thrust into the scary and unfamiliar world of life outside the safety of her twolegs nest, the newly dubbed Mottledove cannot help but cling to the protection clanlife offers her. She soon gives birth to her kits, who will never know a life other than skyclan and it's ways. The kits are now becoming apprentices despite the looming threat of sickness, as mottledove stays a queen in the nursery permanently to continue watching over and caring for future generations.
