Drizzlepelt waits until things have settled down for the night, and looks for a spot where he can be by his lonesome, as well as be able to see the sky. Watching the expanse of night until the stars come out has always given him some sense of comfort, and it has been made more prominent with the teachings (as well as proof) of StarClan.
Life in SkyClan has not been exactly like he expected, and it’s exhausting as much as it is rewarding. Although, when he wished to be surrounded by cats, this isn’t exactly what he had in mind. RiverClan are not what he would call his enemies, but he always has to hold some sense of weariness when it comes to the other clans. Did it have to be that way, though?
Maybe it’s because of his innate will to survive, but as he sees blue transition to purple and yellow to make way for the gloaming, he asks StarClan if this is truly their will. Watch tensions rise as both those at home and those on the journey learn to live together, only to eventually be forced apart once more?
A sense of community might be built after this is all said and done, but he can’t help and worry that being forced into close proximity will make emotions run high. Will this truly bring them closer, or push them further away? He cannot be certain. As Drizzlepelt watches the stars become bright and clear, his mind is anything but.
