đđź The patrol to SkyClanâs territory had quickly snowballed into a disaster, a clash of claws and teeth that the tom is lucky to have escaped from unscathed. Fallowpaw wasnât so lucky, but her injuries had been seen to by Gentlestorm, he thinks. But Falconheart has been so caught up in his own⌠struggles, recently, that he hadnât really paid as much attention to her as he thinks he should.
The thought strikes him when heâs returning to camp after a tough hunting patrol, and quickly he raises his head to look around the camp for the younger ThunderClanner. He spots a familiar form of dappled browns and tans, nearly blending in with the campâs landscape around her, and for once he doesnât hesitate to approach his clanmate. The younger feline looks grouchyâbut then again, Fallowpaw always seems a bit on the unhappy side. A gloomy storm cloud seems to hang over her head, but it doesnât deter Falconheart as he strides closer to his friend. "Hey, Fallowpaw. Are you doing okay?" His brows raise with concern as he looks over the younger cat, his greeting spoken in his typical gentle tone.
"I know you got into that fight when we were⌠you know." He doesnât want to say it, canât admit to the crimes heâd willingly participated in. But still he worries about her, in his own way. He isnât Fallowpawâs protector, not like he is for his younger siblings. Nor is he any sort of role model for her. But he had been there when sheâd first come to the clan, and so he canât help but feel a bit protective over her. Stormywing can handle her training, but Falconheart can always⌠watch from afar, carefully observing without getting too close. He casts a smile at her, settling onto his haunches as he awaits her response.
