Owlpaw was still tired. But he was excited. Hearing his mentor call for him, his head was immediately alert. With the energy of a kid on Christmas morning, he got up, nudging Sunpaw with a cold nose. It was a little chilly, but he didn't wanna offer to reinforce the dens till later, unless someone else was on it today. "Come on, sleepy head, Were gonna see who wins, smarts or strength, remember?," he said to the rosetted form, moving to instead prod her in the side.

And until her form would finally move, would he stop harassing her, turning to carefully move out of the den, bright mismatched eyes seeing Nightingalestrike. "Good morning owl-" but before he could continue the brown apprentice shook his head.

"We need Foxtail! We gotta do sparring training stuff, pleeeaaaaasseee," his paws even pulled together as he gave wide buggy eyes towards him. He hoped Foxtail would say yes that they could come. And Nightingale only raised a sandy eyebrow before shrugging. "I don't see why not," he said in a gentle tone.

Nightingale wasnt ever really a strict mentor. But he also knew Owlpaw needed a regiment, and needed to consistently be practicing. And if he was this excited to get up and get moving, he wasn't going to say no. The kid had spunk, but he wasn't anything but encouraging to him to just be himself.

@SUNPAW. @FOXTAIL

"Ughh, Owlpaw," Sunpaw complains before she's even gotten an eye open. Before she's even really conscious, if she's being honest. It's just Owlpaw's cold nose, his voice, but it's this reminder that makes her eyes pop open instantly. "I'm winning," she declares, but a yawn breaks the end of her words.

By the time she's well and truly pulled herself out of her nest, it's just in time to catch Owlpaw's pleading towards his (totally not dead) mentor. She snorts softly, giving another yawn and a quick rub of her eyes before giving herself a quick shake and putting some more pep in her step.

"Foxtail!" she calls instead. And as soon as Nightengale gives even a hint of agreement, she's flicking Owlpaw in the shoulder with her tail before running off to fetch her mentor too. "Come on, Owl- Hey, Foxtail! Pebble's busy today right? Train us! We want to spar!"
