Mud and slush, squished between his pale dainty paws as he traversed through the swamp. Today is the day of willingly going to Carrionplace, to explore what the place has to offer for him and his traveling buddy for the evening. The place was a good source of prey, if rats were.. good to snack when things were at their worst. Gross. Twoleg junk was so fascinating! He shivers happily, of finding new stuff to add to his collection of random doubloons in his nest.
Back to the present, Batchaser padded to some nearby junk leaning over some sharp spikes, and other rusty looking stuff. Before moving over to peer at some pretty, Twoleg treasures. Ooo, a lovely shine to this one. Should I take it back with me?..Wait- what’s that smell? He lifts his head up, sniffing at the air smelling something.. strangely good? nearby. The tall curly bicolor, turned his skinny body around to follow his nose, long limbs taking him in big strides. He saunters forward to crane his head, blinking at a tree stump. Was that.. red worms? Odd. The tom moves over to the tree stump, with the red worms on top of it. Sniffing at the strange smelling stuff. He wasn’t a Twoleg expert, even as a loner he did stay with some then left the next day. But this stuff is strange even for him, it didn’t smell bad though. ”Oh, What’s this here?" voice coming out with a curious tilt. He takes a paw and poke at it, the worms weren’t moving for some reason. He leans his head down, mouth open to try the weird food. It can’t be that bad right? He bites a little bit of it, tasting it.. It’s all squishy and a little odd tasting? He swallows his part of the strange Twoleg food, swiping at his muzzle with his tongue. The stuff wasn’t bad, it tasted more like a wheat? then anything.
”It’s not bad... but it’s good? Wanna try?” He turns his head towards his clanmate with a rumble of a hum in his throat. Curled bangs bouncing in movement as he waited for a reply from Mottlefox.
