Worry was an ugly feeling, it made them feel nauseas. It made her stomach curl and their head spin, unfortunately worry is all they can feel as the number for the unaccounted climb. Her littermate included in those numbers, she knows that they should be concerned for everyone missing and honestly they were. She just can't help that bias that comes to her naturally when stressing about family, though she's certain they're not the only one. Weaving through the cluster of clan mates in a camp that feels foreign she searches for a familiar blue smoke. One that radiats comfort, warmth, one that might tell her that things are going to be okay and let them indulge in being glued to her side like she's a kit again.
"Mama" she calls out, as she hobbles towards her. Cradling a muddy and black speckled stone against the small tufts of fluff against their chest. Hazecloud is probably needed by many right now, she's a deputy in a crisis so of course they're not the only one looking for her. They hope for that same selfishness in kind, one that stems from a mother rather than a deputy. Twinklepaw musters a smile, it feels heavy but they didn't want to cause any stress ontop of what else she's dealing with currently. Especially with Lichenstar hurt as well, they don't pretend to know what's going on in either parents mind but if Twinklepaw is stressed over this she assumes that Hazecloud too is sick with worry.
"I found something, I thought you would like it!" She proclaims with mustered excitement, holding out a small stone, it's dirty and the specks form a crack like formation along the jagged edges. The apprentice prided herself on finding the shiniest of objects, things that would capture the beauty of the clan around them. Even her romanticism can't save this rock, in their eyes it's too imperfect but maybe that might take her mind off of things? "You could... put it in your nest or something! Or throw it really far, whatever you'd like" She assumes that her nest would have been swept away, when everything's back to normal then maybe this could be the first thing to put in the new one.
