the first thing you notice about tigerpaw is his smile. he's rarely without it, and it's a good reason that many cats in windclan find him a charming presence to be around. he weaponizes sharp wit and often cracks jokes when he can think of any to tell; he generally runs his mouth before thinking. whether he is simply pointing out things he notices or talking back against a cat he doesn't agree with, tigerpaw's tongue can get him in trouble. however, for as much as he talks, he rarely seems to communicate much about himself.
tigerpaw is arrogant and excited about his journey through apprenticeship. though he's a young apprentice as far as windclanners go, he not-so-secretly harbors the belief that he's much better than any of the other apprentices his age. he rarely says so explicitly, though: rather tigerpaw takes a roundabout approach, offering (sometimes unsolicited) advice or training sessions to those he views as struggling. he is especially concerned with doing things "the right way"- more accurately: his way.
however, this doesn't mean tigerpaw is unkind, or doesn't care about his clanmates. he cares deeply for them and wants to see them thrive. he also loves to make friends, and loves keeping hold of those friends (or, if nothing else, he so hates the feeling of being lonely that he feels compelled to wrap himself in others). he generally does things out of the goodness of his heart & his willingness to do kind things for others, or at least his willingness to be a truly good windclanner.
beneath all of his arrogance and charm is a very insecure kid who really just wants to make his clan and his parents proud. he has acted his grandiose part for only a few short moons now, but even that is enough to build up some sort of confidence in his ability that allows for his very real arrogance. however, that confidence is built on sand. tigerpaw fears failure and rejection more than anything.
