જ➶ The fire, it's golden flames arch into the sky. A glow that seems to ever get closer and closer to them. Yet the ghostly guard doesn't find irritation in that, no, it is something else that has his face marred with discomfort and alludes to what he may have to face in the coming season. His maw parts slowly, a tongue flexing against teeth as he pants out puffs of air that are so insignificant to the dry air around him. A throat that feels parched flexes and he closes his eyes for a moment. His scarred figures as if it is aflame itself. Too warm and lasting much too long. Even with the sun having set some time again the heat remains because of the everburning fire that is moving across the moorlands. A brow furrowing as he pants Snow shifts himself to stand up, pacing and walking will do no good but to make him hotter, livid even. The stark colored tom pauses and he tries to think of a way to help himself cool down even for just a moment. Afterall, he feels like if he gets any hotter then he might just fall ill and frankly he has too much to do and too much that might happen to become suck now. So he thinks, shifting towards the exit of camp with his tail dragging against the ground. Scoring claws against the grasses of the moorland in pursuit of the one place that might help him.
It doesn't take long before he finds the pool of water, it's appearance almost like a godsend. Stiffly he settles a paw into the warm liquid, but it feels chilly to him and another as he eases his body down into it. He settles his head halfway within the shifting ripples, breathing bubbles from his nose. It feels almost heavenly to his burning skin, heated frame. Snow closes his eyes and wishes he could just lay here forever but he knows soon that he will have to get back to camp soon.
