A clanmate makes a jab at Flycatcher that he's more like a SkyClanner than a ThunderClanner with his affinity for the trees and kittypet kin. How does he react? Does he take offense to this given his loyalty to ThunderClan?
It has been a peaceful day for ThunderClan. Probably one of the last they will enjoy until after the fight for sunningrocks. After joining a dawn patrol earlier in the day and helping with a spot of hunting. Flycatcher was relaxing in camp, sharing tongues with a few clanmates. As to be expected, most of the chatter involved the upcoming battle, some clanmates expressing a desire to win the rocks for ThunderClan and a few sharing their nervous opinions. Flycatcher listens to all, nodding along to their words, and sharing his own worries. He wants to fight for sunningrocks but he can appreciate why some cats and understandably nervous.
As they are talking, a warrior close to him changes the subject briefly. "I am sorry to hear about the loss of your niece, Flycatcher," The cat mewed, licking a paw idly. "Sure, she was a kittypet but that was a nasty way to go."
"Uh, thank you," Flycather mewed, uncertain of how to take that. The words seemed nice enough but there was undeniably an edge there too. Unfortunately for Flycatcher, this comment had only opened up a new topic of conversation and it wasn't long before another voice was chiming in...
