Things had been hard recently. Really hard. Seriously hard. She knew they must've been because Dear and Sweety didn't let her and her siblings out (not knowingly, anyways). But the day did come when begging at the nest's entrance was met with a sigh, pets, some garbled words and freedom. She'd taken off as quick as her little paws could take her, racing into the chilly undergrowth and ignoring Ursabounce's cries to 'wait'. Really, what did she expect? She'd waited enough! She wanted more interesting things to do then entertain their two legs and eat their yummy food.
Bouncing into camp, the kit announced her own arrival with a bunch of 'Hello!'s and 'Hey, how's it going?' flowing out of her like a rapid river. She needed to speak! She needed to talk! Things had been so boring clan life was so fun!
But what to do? Well, there was lots to do! Moss ball, chat, chat with elders, ask questions... But cats seemed a bit tired today. Maybe she could help! A good chat always got spirits up! But what to talk about?
"Isn't it weird how two leg's just like, pick us up and put their mouth on our head and like, make sounds?" It was a genuine question as much as a funny conversation starter. She would ask the nearest cat - kittypet heritage or not - simply to strike up a conversation hoping it would spark some warmth and joval-ness into the camp's atmosphere.
