SPINDLY, WAVY-FURRED ALBINO WITH WIDE PINK EYES / TOYHOUSE
Blizzardkit is a long and thin feline, with twig-like limbs and a skeleton that seems eager to poke through their skin. Their ghostly, sunken features are punctuated by wide eyes, seemingly unblinking. Their eyes are stained a pale pink but appear nearly lavender in certain lighting. Occasionally, and usually when they are tired or under stress, their eyes seem to rotate back and forth, causing their vision to blur and creating a somewhat creepy-looking effect. Gently curled, dirt-stained ivory fur drapes curtainlike over a gangly, awkward frame. It is clear that Blizzardkit is a small feline, destined to be a tunneler from birth for reasons apart from their sunlight-sensitive skin. Their paws are large for their wiry limbs, and they can only hope to eventually grow into them someday. One of their brows is broken by a small scar, caused by a nasty roughhousing accident that occurred when they were a kit.
As an albino, Blizzardkir suffers from sunlight sensitivity, and is more easily sunburned than their non-albino clanmates. They have trouble seeing on sunny days, especially when there is snow on the ground, and they also suffer from a weakened immune system. They bruise and bleed easily, and are very susceptible to infections. They are prone to torsional nystagmus when stressed or fatigued, and experience blurred vision and vertigo during episodes. They are nearsighted, and have poor depth perception. -
Blizzardkit is a temperamental child, prone to quick shifts in mood that may seem to come out of nowhere. In their own eyes they are entirely reasonable, but amongst clanmates they are swift to change from a talkative, cheerful kit to someone lost in thought, distant and unreachable, for seemingly no reason. Despite their tendency to be a chatterbox, they neither want nor seek attention, and tend to avoid it. The spotlight is not the place for them, and they know it; they tend to flee when a too-large crowd gathers around them, and they become visibly uncomfortable when too many cats press into their space.
They exhibit all the naïvety that is to be expected of a kit, openly trusting and willing to see the good in others even if unearned. Their optimism leads them to believe that everything will work out somehow, even when evidence strongly suggests otherwise. They are the type to dolls orders blindly and take everything they are told at face value—they are also the type to ask questions about anything and everything that pops into their mind.
They have no lofty goals, no desire to do anything heroic in their lifetime, and tend to wander through life at a casual pace. They show a desire to help others and support their clanmates, generous in sharing prey and other items. They are giving nearly to a fault, willing to sacrifice anything in order to aid a friend or clanmate in need. They are excessively loyal to their family, and wish only the best for their kin; sometimes, this is to their detriment, being easily swayed by what their family members say.
They are nonchalant toward pain, and can come off as unempathetic or dismissive of the suffering of others. Still, they are a bit obsessive over the idea of death and the macabre; despite this, they are frightened by the idea of dying themself, and cannot fathom the idea of taking the life of another cat.
[ APPRENTICE ] Due to their poor eyesight, Blizzardpaw is typically skittish and unsure of themself when aboveground, but in the tunnels they truly thrive. They have a keen memory and a short, succinct way of speaking. Though rarely seen aboveground, they are able to recall the paths that the tunnels follow while walking the moors, and they are knowledgeable about the most commonly-used underground passages. They show an interest in worms, and know a lot about the animals that are found in the tunnels. They are keen to see the world outside of WindClan, and their adventurous spirit often gets them into trouble.
Neutral Good, Grave Cleric. Blinks slowly and rarely when not in sunlight (squints in sunlight, or keeps their eyes closed). Often accused of playing with their food, though they insist they are merely a slow eater. Walks with slow, dragging steps and a stilted, lurching gait. Stiff posture. Flat and emotionless tone of voice. Speaks so softly that it sometimes seems like they’re whispering. Repeats words and phrases. -
