Without the novelty of the territory being brand new, he wasn't so consumed with learning that he couldn't think of anything else. Amongst his new clanmates he'd heard of a cat called Blazestar, and considering his matching suffix to Orangestar, figured it was related. Doeblaze's speech was drowned out unintentionally. It's not like he was trying to be daft, he simply didn't know better.

"Who was Blazestar?" he asked, interrupting her. The young tom looked expectantly at her, unaware of the history and pain laden in their question.
