"WE ARE THE BROKEN ONES, WHO CHOSE TO SPARK A FLAME"
Emberstar set herself down on the edge of camp. Though she had spent the whole day fixing up the camp, she hadn't expected to feel this tired afterward. After all, all she was handling was the last little touches, the patrols that had come to clean while everyone had stayed in Riverclan had done most of the hard work. It should have been easier on her than this. Maybe the effects of her injuries had lingered more than she had thought.
Regardless, she settled in, wrapping her tail about herself. She would head into her own den soon enough, but not yet. It was lonely having a den to herself. Even before the fire it had been, but now she felt it even more acutely. For the moment she just wanted to sit amidst the quieting bustle of her clan as the sun set, and watch the cats padding past. There was something comforting in doing that, when she could recognize every face. She called out warm greetings as each one passed her, giving them their own smile as they went about their duties.
"Heya Flamewhisker." Emberstar greeted affectionately as she sighted the warrior.
