જ➶ Brisk breaths leave her as her paws thud against the ground. Eyes narrowed against the wind but locked on the fuzzy red tail before her. Such an open expanse that benefits her more than the prey she is hunting down. Her claws ravage the ground as she gives chase and she will not lose this squirrel. It is too plump for that and she will make sure that it graces the freshkill pile for someone to be able to try. Land prey hunting is something she enjoys and has worked hard at to master during her training. She does not want to have a weakness and being able to hunt on land and within the waters of the river will keep her strengths up. The ground rushes past her underpaw and she sharply turns to avoid a rock only to easily gain traction and be right back on the squirrel's tail. Her deadly gaze glimmers with excitement as she breathes out harshly and she is gaining. Close enough to be able to snag it tail soon and fumble it. Yet she is not prepared for the squirrel to be so clever. It isn't like they are supposed to be and her focus so tunneled in that she doesn't even realize it herself. The squirrel is swift and suddenly the fuzzy little rodent jumps right over the form of another Riverclanner. A familiar figure that makes Midnight's eyes widen in panic. "CRAP, CRAP, MAGPIE LOOK OUT!"
She can't just simply put on the breaks and even so she tries to do so anyway. Her claws grapple with the ground to try and slow herself. Tail swinging back and forth as she lowers her head. Dirt and debris fly everywhere as she tries to put a halt to her momentum in such a short time. Yet it proves useless as she finds herself potentially careening into her friend and taking the both of them rolling across the ground. When the dust settles the molly lays there with heaving sides and she is silent before she suddenly bursts out in laughter at what just happened.
