THE WOLF BECOMES THE SHEEP // Swallow

" Your name, do you like it?." It was rare for Lividsmoke to approach another new warrior of the clan. Usually they didn't care who joined or left the den. Getting involved personally with their clanmates had never been much of a priority, or a interest for that matter. But for some reason today when Lividsmoke had entered the warrior den to find Swallowflutter in there had lead them to start a conversation. It must be because of thier spent time together as apprentices. Lividsmoke had come to realize that somewhere along the way the two had started to spend alot of time together, of course because they had allowed them to. It had been benefical at the end since she had kept Basilpaw away so they could have focused on their training but now that time is over. Both were warriors now, and with the new gained freedom of being allowed to leave and go as they pleased that sort of deal between the two almost seemed pointless now. Basilpaw was hopefully dealt with now, and if not something else had to be done about it. What he had done to thier face would not so easily be forgotten about. So it had crossed their mind what they where suppose to do with them now.

@Swallowflutter.

Over the moons, despite the strange start, Livismoke had become Swallowflutters only friend - a soruce of solace, in a den full of cats who either seemed indifferent or outright hostile towards her. Snowlark's hatre is a confusing thing, seemingly out of their control - and Basilpaws is foolish, a greedy thing anting what's hers. But lividsmoke tolerates her, and Swallowflutter clings to that with the desperation of a cat who is not quite all there. And if when the newly named warriors move into the den, if Swall' makes sure to snag a place a little too conveniently nearby her 'friends'? Well, its not as though theres anyone to comment on it.

" I do! " comes cheery voice - having lost some of it's sharpness and pitch over the past moons, and yet none of it's emotion. It's not the only thing that has changed, she notes absently - Lividsmoke has always been taller then her, of course, but she no longer feels quite so dwarfed by everyone else - pudgy frame growing into itself, even if she's a bit rounder and softer then her fellow denmates.

" I'm excited, " she admits sheepishly with a smile full of sharp teeth, as though it is secret she is about to say, " No more waiting to be assigned on patrols to leave camp, or train, or well- whatever, " she breathes.

'No more waiting for Lividsmoke to come back'
