pafp THERE IS A BIG WORLD OUT THERE // showing outlock rock

Periwinklepaw was still so small, too small to be leaving camp in Leechpaw's opinion. He actually didn't approve of turning kits into apprentices this early on especially in leafbare. This was his first one to fully experience it from the start but he had been born in the middle of it so he knew how merciless leafbare could be. He just didn't like it, and even if Periwinklepaw had a mentor who looked out after them now, Leechpaw still took it up on himself to keep an eye out on this young one as well. This one had somehow manged to sneak through his defence, and whenever Leechpaw grow fond of another cat he become instinctively protective over them. He would make sure this one made it up to warriorhood. The faster Periwinklepaw grow up the better it would be for them.

" We are here." Leechpaw looked back over his shoulder at the young kit. He had brought them out here since he had promised to show Outlock rock to them once they become an apprentice. It was a massive and big rock that many wanted to see at least once. It was a perfect place to stand on top and spy on hawks in the sky as well. Leechpaw lifted his gaze back up to look at the top of this beastly rock. " This is Outlock rock." There would be many places Periwinklepaw would get to see from now on. Outlock rock was just one of them.

He's still not sure he'll ever get used to this. It's strange, being able to leave camp. To see the territory and all that it holds. As he trails along after leechpaw like a duckling, pale gaze is blown wide in awe. As far as the eye can see, grass and moss covers the lands. He thinks if he squints hard enough, he can just make out what might be trees - far, far off in the distance.

Looming overhead, tall and proud, is an even more stunning sight. Head craned back to the point where it hurts he blinks up at the rock. It's much larger than he expected. "c-c-can we c-clim-b it?" he asks, uncertain. Memories of how fiercely sootstar guarded the high rock, which before now he'd thought to be the tallest in existence - has him wary.
