White whiskers twitched with excitement as small little paws moved quickly over the dirt floor of the camps clearing. It wasn't often that there was a time and place set for them all to come together. Things had been busy with her family with Orangeblossom being deputy, Alice returning to her home at night and Auburn doing whatever it was he does. Still, Bananapaw had been persistent on a family outing today! The air was crisp with a warmth to it though there was a coolness still as the remains of winter drifted away from the forest. Perfect day for them to hang out and share prey or talk or something! She loved the closeness her family had with each other and she hoped to extend that onto her own kittens when she had them. If she ever did have kittens. The thought was quickly pushed away as it wasn't the time to dwell on her adult exitensialism.
"Ora! Momma! Burny!" Bananapaws' voice carried over the clearing loudly and she gave a bright smile in her excitement, quickly bounding over to the three cats. She skittered to a halt as she approached them, "This is going to be so much fun! I can wait to tell you everything!" Bananapaw was no shy cat when it came to relaying her life with her family. Orangeblossom was basically her best friend at this point so Bananapaw had already told her about her training. Though there as a guilty feeling that settled in her stomach as her cheery grin faltered slightly.
She hadn't been truthful about Quillstrike though. She dind't think she could tell them about him- would they think she was crazy? Or maybe they could make sense of the feelings that churned her stomach whenever she was around Chrysalispaw, or the cold streak that ran through her fur at the sight of Twitchbolt. Quillstrike had been her friend for many moons by now, so he was nothing new to her family- but there was something arising between them she couldn't quite explain. Those rounded ears of her flicked slightly as she seemed to question herself briefly before trying to gain back that bright smile on her maw once more.
"We should share some prey or go for a walk! Its so nice out!" She tried to be optimistic, but the feelings that squirmed in her stomach made her appitite vanished into thin air. She swallowed a bit harshly and looked down at the ground, pawing at it slightly, "Or something?" She seemed uncertain of herself which was strange for the sweet little she-cat. Bananapaw shuffled her paws slightly with a twitch of her tail before looking up at her mother, "Do you have to go back home early today?"
