⁺₊⋆ ☀︎ ⋆⁺₊ No matter what way she tossed and turned in her meticulously built nest, Dwindlingpaw's mind would let her sleep. She just couldn’t do it, there was danger everywhere. Snores filled her ears, and the smell of sleep was thick, yet her stormy blue eyes were wide awake. She stared up at the brambles that made up the walls, and her paws were still tingling from the fight with Wrathpaw.
Dwindlingpaw rose from her perfect sleep spot and crept out of the apprentice den. The warm night air of the camp provided little comfort. It was dangerous here, too. Was there nowhere safe? She turned and tucked herself behind the tree stump near the apprentice den. Laying down, she looked up at the perfect view of High Rocks, and tears bubbled in her eyes. Blood was spilled there too. What was wrong with her, how could she?
The sound of grass crunching caught her attention, and Dwindlingpaw rubbed her face dry. She peaked out from her hiding spot to see who was awake. "Oh shrouded, umm sorry did I wake you? Are you okay?" She whispered voice wobbling.
