Rehoming ThunderClan Apprentice​

Quick backstory: Sunny was a shelter cat who escaped as an adult and met the loner Rabbit, the two grew close very quickly in their time together and eventually found ThunderClan newly formed in their travels and chose to stay. Sunny was named Sunfreckle and Rabbit was named Rabbitnose, the two adapted to clan life and even brought in a litter that met with early tragedy.
Due to Sunfreckle having an autoimmune disorder some of the kits inherited his frailty and Dovekit was one of them, dying at a young age in camp.
Not long after this Little Wolf joined the nursery to have her own litter and the two litters were raised alongside eachother; as such the two lil families are rather close-Morningpaw (one of Little Wolf's kits) dying in a skirmish was another upset to them and felt just as deeply and in the coming moons Sunfreckle's daughter Mossypaw would be taken by two-legs in a trap.
Despite it all they're a very close knit family and both parents are very loving.

  • This is not First Come, First Serve but I do wanna rehome the slot quick. (I'll prolly leave this for about a weekish?)
  • You do not have to STRICTLY follow the genetics but as long as the appearance looks like it works between the parents then that's fine!
  • Name list is at the bottom, it's not required but it's preferred!
    • Or at least the same 'vibes' are preferred!
  • This apprentice is a ThunderClanner and both parents are very clan loyal, they'll be expected to remain in the clan.
  • This apprentice is 5 moons (ages every 25th of the month)
  • They are a blank slate except one important backstory detail which is: They were held back one moon for leaving camp as a kit. You may play this as you like or even fully ignore it, but just noting that it will exist in their backstory as its the reason Sunfreckle remained in the nursery another moon.
  • Please keep your kit semi-active! Casual characters are fine so long as they aren't fully abandoned without discussing with us your dropping them!

Litter Genetics:
Sire: LH blue w/ high white and vitiligo Dam: LH red tabby w/ low white (masking black tabby; carrying dilute) Toms can be red tabby or cream tabby She-cats can be tortoiseshell, blue tortoiseshell, torbie, or blue torbie - kits will be longhaired - kits can have low white or high white - kits can have any realistic eye color - kits may or may not have vitiligo, which will develop in adulthood - red tabbies will mask black or black tabby; cream tabbies will mask blue or blue tabby - non-dilute kits will carry dilute

  • Off limits: Spark, Mouse, Dove, Mossy, Dew, Flicker, Pigeon, Morning, Cinder...
Notes: Feel free to be creative and pick names with similar 'vibes' as the above if none of them suit you but keep in mind neither parent would choose any dark or depressing names.

    fluffy red tabby / tortoiseshell chimera with seaglass eyes ᨒ smells like warm stone and oak leaves. warmth. her namesake shows shows himself in shades of vibrant ginger patches across her form, interwoven in mottled patches of red and black. unspecified maine coon heritage from sunfreckle’s side brings her to a size expected to rival her parents, with large, round paws and long, tabby - splotched limbs. as she grows, kittish fuzz with lengthen, leaving her bulk thick and fluffy, concealing the toned muscle beneath in swathes of red - orange.

    positive: confident, athletic, strong - willed, intelligent neutral: assertive, questioning negative: obsessive, strange, hot-headed, impulsive ♱ upon first meeting her, one would assume frecklepaw to be a bit rude ; reckless, and carelessly throwing herself into situations she doesn't belong much to everyone elses' exasperation. she’s nosy, a bit of a brat who doesn't seem to know how to hold her tongue when crucial, despite her tenacity and willingness to learn. she is confident, raised by two loving parents, not so much as considering that she is any less talented than they have always said. she does not seem to learn from past mistakes regardless of how many times she will make them, tending to disobey her superiors when she ( often wrongly ) assumes she can do something better. unorthodox, buoyant , and incredibly wild-spirited — and competitive, ever set on her dreams to become a warrior of thunderclan, defending her home. blunt when speaking and unafraid to deal out some harsh truths to which, at times, she doesn't seem to realize, making her appear inadvertently apathetic. As a result of this , she can't foresee whether or not her words will deal some kind of damage with her inability to beat around the bush concerning delicate issues, but, due to her empathetic nature and her fathers consistent ‘ behave yourself ‘s, ultimately she tries to throw in some reassurance to soften the blow.

    despite her outward mean girl attitude, frecklepaw is also rumored to be a bit strange beneath her preppy, prim attitude. venturing out with her father early on in life has given her a fixation on all sorts of creepy crawlies and fungi, often found flipping rocks and burrowing for the grubs underneath.


    • tends to go mushroom hunting with rabbitnose, picked up an interest in bugs while doing so. collects shells and wings when she can.
    • will grow into a hobby trophy hunter, highly athletic and shows it off.
    • excellent snake hunter. hoping to find a mentor that can really shape her into a warrior favoring both hunting and combat. weak in stealth, swimming, and tree hunting.

( + ) clever, curious, innovative ( / ) forthright, skeptical, guileful, competitive, sensitive ( - ) rash, troublesome, dishonest, petty rosepaw is no petals, all thorns, most of the time. the very traits many herald as his greatest strengths end up his limitations; his cleverness becomes overthought, curiosity an accomplice to the trouble he lands in. while most will see true that he’s a well-meaning boy, but his mind’s gears are churning overdrive.

gets to know others by feeling blindly under the table, at their softest bruises and going in knuckle-deep. he communicates this way, doesn’t know anything else. and each shock-factor look on someone’s face is very addicting. “rosepaw” becomes a cursed word, a name croaked in exasperation, something screeched behind him as he runs. he is not so keen to get this reversed, and in times where he’s shouldering the ribbing or getting a taste of his own medicine, can become hurt or moody. uses silence as punishment towards others.

however, cannot fit the tough-guy facade or the big bully trope exactly. less is his struggle to be gentle a problem of mean-spiritedness, and rather the fact it is fun. to be so intense is a balm to anxiety and insecurity, because if all eyes are narrowed it doesn’t matter how you look or how you act or feel.

actually intelligent and an outside the box thinker, tends to tend of stuff in unconventional ways due to obsessing over originality, it becomes a habit after he learns to ease out of it and becomes natural.
— mannerisms: swaggering gait, but able to disappear quickly
— will start fights | will end fights | will flee | will show mercy
— will excel at tracking. this is his main skill, with a nose that works overtime, acutely aware of most scents in the wilds. moderately good at combat and actual hunting, not impressively so though. can’t swim, won’t be able to climb without extreme difficulty later on.

plots:
— thinking he left camp bc he is a stinker!! i could see him doing it especially to be noticed, he is very “any attention is good attention” and most of his acting out is to feel heard and seen (despite being afraid of it). would have boasted about his discoveries to hide a deep set guilt of having to keep his father in the nursery.
— untrusting of many other cats, it takes a lot to get him to open up ( hiding injuries until worse/collapse, hiding everything in general )
— freaks out over scars, the idea there’s something new with him that could be seen as a sign of weakness makes him lose it. he needs some1 to tell him he is pretty even with them
— in an accident/injured by someone else, his tail becomes immobile, after a while of refusing to have it amputated will have to be dragged in to have it happen, making a bigger scene than necessary
— assuming he mellows out nearer to warriorhood, after several talks with his parents about acting out, i could see him breaking down, being less mean and actually beginning to relax and let himself have actual fun that isnt at the expense of others
